Liked: Reasonably priced campsite. Shop was fairly priced Staff are friendly and helpful Site and toilets are well maintained Very good location, easy reach of motorway Milk vending machine Field is mostly level
Disliked: Toilet block is a bit of trek Tent pitches are very close to the sites bins. You can't park your car next to the tent (although the car park is next to the field

Liked: On-site restaurant very good and staff exceptional! Showers were immaculately clean (* see below) After 5pm, when the shooting stopped officially, the walk we had through what is usually the extensive shooting area was lovely (* see below). The reception staff were extremely nice.
Disliked: We were not aware in advance that right next to the pitches and other accommodation is a shooting range (I guess clay pigeon shooting). The noise was horrendous; one of us gets very upset when there are loud noises, and our dog also was terrified. The pitches were quite close together. Shower block: light goes out when you are in the shower when there is no one else moving around in the main area. It wasn't a problem as it was light outside, but if you went there in the dark it would be a disaster. A bench inside the shower cubicle for people to be able to sit on when drying and putting dressing is an absolutely minimum requirement; none there.

Liked: Restaurant and bar, pitches, location. Overall the site was spotless and the food was fantastic. This would be a 5 star site if they cleaned the toilet blocks more frequently! Simple fix.
Disliked: Toilet blocks were not clean. The facilities themselves were of high quality but not cleaned frequently enough as there was lots of dirt, hair and empty bottles left in, which were still there the next day.

Liked: Lovely clean park . We arrived late and the lady on reception was very helpful . We thought the reception , bar and shop were very nice , the peacock roaming the grounds was beautiful and the milk shed was a hit with our children .
Disliked: The walk to the toilet block was quite a walk from our roof tent especially in the middle of the night , there were no milk bottles available in the vending machine also . There was nothing for children to really do here , the site seemed aimed for more older adults in our opinion not families . O

Liked: Fantastic club house/ bar area. Lovely scenery, settings and wildlife.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike, perfect for us visiting as a couple. To bring our kids in the future, a park/ play area would be good.

Liked: This park is immaculate, facilities are well looked after and the grounds well maintained. All staff were quick efficient and help. LOVED the peacock of course. A lovely indoor and outdoor dining/drinks space. Although camping, I treated myself to a lovely Eggs Benedict, this is what I always pick from a breakfast menu and it was the best iv ever had. Lovely location in nature but very close to the town of Annan.
Disliked: Only the noise from the shooting range.
