Liked: Lovely mature woodland setting. Peaceful. You can pick your own spot to camp electric free.
Disliked: Disliked the heavy code protected toilet doors. I found them heavy and difficult to open.

Liked: Once again, a lovey few days in the forest. My 6 yr old loves exploring, so do our 2 dogs. And great for me knowing my son is safe playing in the trees, within eye view. We like to stay round the forest so we don’t venture out but you can walk into Marlborough. Friendly staff who remembered us from our last visit. Can’t wait to book again. A bonus with a lovely sunny weekend.

Liked: I’m a motorcycle camper. Found this site really nice and able to camp under some trees for shade which helped not getting too hot when packing up. Old but very clean toilets. Definitely worth a visit
Disliked: Showers would be handy

Liked: Pretty level, close to woodland, quiet, local wildlife (squirrels, rabbits and deer spotted within 5 mins of arrival). Toilet block and washing up facilities. Friendly staff. Walking distance to local town, excellent value for money. Can get a little boggy but Colin is on hand with the tractor for rescue.
Disliked: The absolutely unavoidable feature of British countryside - midges!

Liked: This campsite is simply stunning. I was welcomed by a friendly face, who couldn't have been more helpful. Staff walked round regularly to check if everything was ok. The setting was just beautiful, waking up to the sound of the birds. I loved that you could more or less pitch where you wanted, I was meeting up with a group of friends that were already there when i arrived, but we were able to get close together where we wanted to be.
