The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).- Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.

Liked: Almost everything- lovely site, woodland, friendly owner, chickens and geese, showers basic but fine, loos same, friendly other campers, great location. West Somerset Railway is a must, the village is nice.
Disliked: Expensive drinks in the village pub.

Liked: Would highly recommend this site. We had a very warm welcome from Karen who told us all about the site and its history, and also shared local information. Lots of chickens and geese to see which my daughter loved. The site was well kept and clean and very peaceful.

Liked: Lady who met us was lovely. Site was full but quiet. Loos and showers basic but fine. You can walk to the village easily.

Liked: Nice location, quiet and fairly close to the hills and amenities
Disliked: No soap or hot water in the toilet for hand washing. Water for washing dishes was also cold and showers lukewarm.

From the manager: Thanks for your comment. we’re having an exceptionally busy weekend due to the bank holiday and WSR steam rally by us. So I apologise if the soap dispenser had run out in the luxury toilet trailer on the day you visited. The new multi bay shower trailer does however have sinks as well as showers and hot water with complimentary friends of the earth products for washing hair , body and hands. I do appreciate washing up dishes with cold water is not ideal and our plumber is already scheduled for next week to convert the original shower room to an inside washing up room with hot water sink and countertop. Unfortunately due to availability it couldn’t be done before the long weekend. But will be in place for the rest of the season.

Liked: Friendly, informative welcome.Nicely spaced out , level pitches, quiet spot. Complimentary toiletries was a nice touch.
Disliked: Cockeral was very vocal in the morning, but that's what you get if you stay on a small holding.

Liked: Really friendly hosts and such a lovely location. Flat pitches, warm showers and proper toilets. Didnt mind the sound of the roosters at all, it kind of fits in with the country location. My wife popped in to say goodbye when we left and had a good chat with the owner. They work really hard to make the site as nice as possible with more improvemnts to follow. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Disliked: Nothing I really disliked. When we stayed the RAF were night flying but that only lasted about 20 or 30 minutes and before midnight.
