What customers say
A no-frills, eco-friendly spot with ample space and good value. Staff are friendly, toilets clean. Great for nature lovers, though showers are absent and noise can be an issue. Pub and attractions nearby. Pits and BBQs welcome.

Great little site. Would (probably will) stay again.
Non-electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Loads of space, really quiet, plenty of composting toilet availability (lit at night). Great dog walking around.
Disliked Ground quite uneven, could difficult to find a spot without leveling blocks in busy times (didn't cause us any problems).

See you again soon 😊
Non-electric grass and earth pitch
Liked We liked the simplicity or just a field, simple toilets and the low price to match.
Things are expensive nowadays but not this campsite.
Great views of sunrise and sunset 👌🏼
We’re climbers who go to Cheddar Gorge from the south east and this is an ideal location for us.
Quick overnight stop, fire in the pits provided and even a bench if you’re lucky.
We’ve stayed twice already and will stay again in our little group of 4.
Thank you ☺️
See you again soon ⛺️ 🔥 🧗

Non-electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Lovely welcome, plenty of space, clean toilets, 10 minute walk to pub (nice food, ale and interior - heads up they can call time early and the chef was inflexible to minor changes on our visit). Quite slopey in places, take levellers if in a vehicle and stay high if heavy rain forecast.
