Liked: Use of the adventure park after hours. Large pitches. Close to Bath and Bristol.
Disliked: Shower shacks were very basic and cleanliness was difficult to maintain due to nature of the shack. No sinks in toilets. All sinks outdoors. Cars not kept by tent during stay.

Liked: The best part of the day was the foam party near the end - everyone there looked like they were having the best time! Also the 24 hour access is such a great bonus! I just want to say what an amazing experience I had regarding the helpfulness of the staff during my stay. Unfortunately I had trouble with my campervan breaking down and I couldn’t fault any of the staff at all, everyone from reception to the warden were all so super helpful and lovely and really helped me when I needed it. We had a great stay (albeit stressful dealing with breaking down) but the staff really helped make a stressful situation a lot better. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy our second day due to the RAC and sorting out our problems but the day we did spend at Avon valley was really great and we loved everything from the pig racing to the foam party and candy cannon - we love doing day trips and this was so different to anywhere we had been before we were super impressed! Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day it’s really appreciated.
Disliked: I would to of liked to see more food options

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay here. There was a lot for our son to do, and he really enjoyed the extra time with the animals before and after the park had shut. The bar had good value food and it is nice to sit there and watch your children run about. The staff are really helpful and help out when you need them to.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked: Situated on the grounds of the park so activities in the park easily accessible. Cost of camping included entry for all 4 of us for every day of our visit. Able to access the park "after closing" for day visitors which my son loved as he felt like a VIP. Very large pitch with electric hook up. Cars are not allowed to be parked on the pitch, parking provided in car park that is very close. Site was not full when we arrived so loads of space for the kids to play - this would not be the case if all the pitches were full.
Disliked: Only 3 out of the 5 toilets were open and the locks on all that were open didnt work very well (hard to lock/didnt lock). Bins in the toilets were not emptied daily despite the toilets being cleaned and with little ventiliation meant they were a bit smelly. Showers are basic but there was hot water. No lighting at the dish / hand washing station or any lighting around the site (take a torch).
