Liked: Loved everything from the shower blocks (very clean and big) to the restaurant ( food was great, friendly staff) Loved how close I was to different places as well

Disliked: Nothing at all everything was perfect will definitely be coming back

Liked: Lovely site with a super friendly feel. Particularly liked the ability to order warm pastries for breakfast! The onsite bar/restaurant was really convenient. The facilities such as showers etc were very good. Really good location for exploring the Dorset coast. All in all a cracking week, helped by the weather.

Disliked: The pizzas on Saturday night in the Barn were a bit of a let down. Not sure why it was £15 for frozen pizzas, but you live and learn!

Liked: Very well spaced pitches and access. The facilities are very good and well kept and the shop has everything for camping. The staff are very welcoming and happy to help.

Disliked: The WiFi was a bit intermittent.

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 3 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).

Dogs

Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a £12,00 (R279,40) fee.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Safety

Open fires are prohibited.

General

Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Reception

Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Occupancy

Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (excluding couples) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

General

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Dogs

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Admission
