On the Dorset/Devon border, about halfway between Lyme Regis and Seaton, is a splendid spot for a break, giving you easy access to both towns along with a great swathe of the spectacular Jurassic Coast. And that pretty much sums up the location of Shrubbery Touring Park, a large and well-equipped holiday park with the added bonus of easy access from the A3052. Lyme Regis, Seaton and the South West Coast Path are within 10 minutes’ drive, giving you plenty of options for attractions, activities and places to eat or shop. Bus services run from the stop three minutes’ walk away to help you avoid parking issues. Closer to home, you’re welcome to drop in to the village’s social club, 300 metres away, for a drink, and there are a couple of pubs within an hour’s walk. The site has its own shop too, for everyday essentials like bread, milk and any bits of camping kit you may have mislaid. Facilities here have been nicely thought out, with a large play area and a crazy golf course to keep the kids amused and a dog-walking area for any visiting canines. A launderette, washing-up area, wifi area , tourist information point and phone/laptop charging area help to keep life ticking over smoothly, and the three bathroom blocks have accessible facilities and a family bathroom.

Liked Quiet. Large well spaced pitches. Facilities block we used had good showers but the male toilets were in poor shape - out of loo roll in one cubicle and cubicles with previous users who don’t know how to use a brush. Probably just a bad day. Other block was closed. No wi-fi offered at reception but apparently not great. Good bus services both ways nearby.

Disliked Better maintenance and availability of the facilities blocks perhaps.

Liked The site has very well kept grounds with open grass areas planted with an interesting variety of trees and shrubs. It is located on a main road with easy access and a bus stop very nearby. We used this to take the bus into Lyme Regis which we would recommend rather than trying to park there. Although we didn't make use of them there is also a children's play area and a crazy golf course. Very friendly staff and the new owners have plans to further update the facilities. Overall a great site and well worth a visit.

Liked Pretty campsite.
Nice flat level pitches with decent facilities and handy dog walking area

Disliked Showers a little disappointing, timeflow showers did not work
Requiring button to be held in continuously
( washing hair one handed is not great)
Shower cubicles are small and it was almost impossible to keep clean clothes dry while showering. No WiFi information given.

Disliked Showers. Push button that you had to keep one hand on otherwise the water flow would stop. Not exactly idea being left with one hand to wash with.

Disliked Main showers - buttons only run water 3 seconds. Gaffer tape solved this!

Lack of surfaces to pot things on in shower.

Shortage of hooks

Shortage of seat. Took and used the moveable disabled one.

No screen/curtain in shower so clothes)towel get damp.

Washing up area, no plugs which fit sinks.

Lack of hard paths to the main utility bloch. All over wet grass if raining or heavy drw.
