  • Well-maintained park on the Devon/Dorset border with easy road access
  • Lyme Regis five minutes' drive away; 10 minutes to Seaton
  • Playground, crazy golf and shop on site; bus stop a short walk
On the Dorset/Devon border, about halfway between Lyme Regis and Seaton, is a splendid spot for a break, giving you easy access to both towns along with a great swathe of the spectacular Jurassic Coast. And that pretty much sums up the location of Shrubbery Touring Park, a large and well-equipped holiday park with the added bonus of easy access from the A3052. Lyme Regis, Seaton and the South West Coast Path are within 10 minutes’ drive, giving you plenty of options for attractions, activities and places to eat or shop. Bus services run from the stop three minutes’ walk away to help you avoid parking issues. Closer to home, you’re welcome to drop in to the village’s social club, 300 metres away, for a drink, and there are a couple of pubs within an hour’s walk. The site has its own shop too, for everyday essentials like bread, milk and any bits of camping kit you may have mislaid. Facilities here have been nicely thought out, with a large play area and a crazy golf course to keep the kids amused and a dog-walking area for any visiting canines. A launderette, washing-up area, wifi area , tourist information point and phone/laptop charging area help to keep life ticking over smoothly, and the three bathroom blocks have accessible facilities and a family bathroom.

What customers say

A clean, peaceful site with big pitches, friendly staff, and a great spot for Lyme Regis. Showers are good, though temp can be tricky. Wi-Fi improving. No shop or ball games.

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Kids play area, large pitches

Disliked No ball games! For what we thought was a family friendly park, to be told off for playing football in a massive open space was a real surprise.

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Lovely clean campsite with good facilities. Loved the park for the children … it kept them all entertained!
Easy to find and get to local beaches.

Disliked Only negative point was that there was no hot food trucks currently visiting the site in the evenings … so had to cook ourselves! Although you can order food to be delivered (we just didn’t have the foresight to do that!!) and there was meant to be a visiting pizza truck one night a week but it was having issues!
Also WiFi is only available close to the welcome centre

Liked Large spacious pitches. Clean facilities. Onsite manager very friendly and helpful

Disliked Family were not given pitches close to us when they arrived a day later than us. Despite space available near us. And the noise. Most of the stay was quiet at night but some guests who arrived were noisy until early hours of the morning.

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Excellent campsite. My daughter loved it there. Stayed for 2 nights. Plenty of shower blocks, toilets and washing up areas.
Good play area. First time away in the caravan, it was easy check in and the pitch size is good. Going to come back again

Disliked The road from where you come off the A35 to the campsite is absolutely terrible.I have drove better dirt roads in outback Australia! Nothing to do with the campsite. Shame on you, the local council!

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Lovely well kept site, ideal for families and close to seaside towns and the coastal path. Facilities were always clean, tidy and well stocked. Had a really good time here. One thing to be aware of are the showers being extremely slippery, might be worth taking a bath mat or small towel to stand on in there. Otherwise its a perfect campsite and definitely recommend staying here.
