General

  • Spacious wild camping pitches at an Exmoor farm with sea views
  • Loads of space per pitch - circa 1/2 acre each!
  • 10 minute walk from coastpath / short drive to beach

Escape to the countryside & experience a night under the stars with our wild camping tent pitches. We are based just outside the pretty hamlet of Martinhoe in North Devon, a stone's throw from the SW Coast Path. A number of our pitches even have sea views and you're likely to see deer in the neighbouring fields.

We provide composting loos, but there are no other facilities, no electricity and you will need to bring water. Please ensure that you leave our fields as you find them.

Our pitches will be very well spaced out so there will be plenty of space to run, play, fly kites, explore, throw a frisbee, or lounge without the worry of loads of people or close quarters.

Pets are welcome, on leads and cleaned up after!
Fires are allowed in firepits which can be provided free of charge please request at booking. Logs can be purchased - please message me / or information will be provided prior to your stay.
Room to park cars next to tents.
Gazebos are allowed.

The stunning view, peace, access to the coast path and the sea. Only a compost toilet and no other facilities but that's what we wanted. Owners very friendly and advised us on walks and delivered firepit and logs.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing setting, great touch with the fire pit. Couldn’t have asked for more. Stars were so clear at night.

    Disliked:

Although the policy asks campers to keep loud music down, there were a few groups in neighbouring fields playing very loud music all through the night and screaming/shouting. One group even driving their car round in circles of the field in the middle of the night with full beams trying to skid in the mud, probably drunk.

We absolutely loved it at Berrys - so peaceful and LOTS of space - pitches spaced out so that no one is on top of each other. Quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. We actually only live down the road but felt like we were really on holiday. Compost loo ALOT nicer than portaloos! Berrys is an amazing place but dont tell EVERYONE!!!! Katie and Esther were so helpful too.

The views were amazing, lovely location on a working farm. We were the only people in our field so were able to choose our site. Use of a fire pit was great. Compost toilets were in a little wooden shed but actually didn’t smell at all and no cobwebs, really nicely looked after and clean. We loved the privacy. Gorgeous places to visit locally. We loved Woody Bay, a bit of a walk to get down to the bay but it was a beautiful spot, rock pool you can swim in and such a peaceful and tranquil place. We will be back again!
