Higher Twitchen CL is situated 3 miles from Combe Martin and the rugged North Devon coast. Close to the Exmoor National Park and the sandy surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde, we are perfectly located to enjoy everything North Devon has to offer. We are a quiet, rural 5 pitch caravan site in North Devon. We have grass pitches with electric hook-up and are dog friendly. Higher Twitchen CL is located 3 miles from Combe Martin and the rugged North Devon coast. On the edge of the Exmoor National Park and a short drive to the sandy surfing beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde, we are well situated for you to explore North Devon. Set within 5 acres at Berry Down, we are a dog friendly and adult only site. Facilities include water tap, grey waste and an Elsan point. There is a dog walk area to exercise your canine best friend.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
Group bookings of 3 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.
Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
Tents are not accepted at this park.

Route directions

From M5 take junction 27, onto A361 towards Barnstaple At the Aller Cross roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A399 signposted to Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. Before Combe Martin, turn left onto Long Lane/A3123 sign posted Mortehoe and Woolacombe. Follow this road until you reach a T junction junction. Turn left signposted Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. After 500 metres there is a sharp right hand bend, turn off left here (go straight ahead) sign posted East Down and Pyne Arms. After 100m on the left there is a grass verge, look for “Higher Twitchen” sign and a big black post box. There is plenty of room to pull off the road.
