Hunger Hill offer back to nature family Yurt camping in cosy Yurts with comfy beds and beautiful views!. The Yurts share a small holding with Kune kune pigs, chickens, ducks and a very friendly dog! Lit by fairy lights and Moroccan lanterns, with sheepskins and kilim cushions to relax on around a central wood-burning stove the Yurts are very warm and cosy at night. Outside each Yurt are hammocks, a picnic table and open fireplace with a BBQ grill. Fire wood for the stoves and small camp fires is provided at no extra charge. For the 4 Meadow Yurts there is a large, well equipped farmhouse style kitchen with a 6 ringed cooker, oven and a fridge for each Yurt. Tea towels, washing up liquid all provided. The Orchard Yurt has all its own facilities, including a shower, toilet, kitchen and covered eating area. Hunger Hill is a peaceful location for a relaxing holiday!

Hunger Hill Yurts is in the heart of wonderful walking country. You can book bush craft, foraging walks, mackerel fishing and horse riding. Have picnic’s by the River Otter and lazy days on the near by beaches. A unique 3000 acre pebble heath and R.S.P.B reserve with abundant wild life is right next door to the Yurt site. We are on the route of the famous East Devon Way and close to beautiful beaches on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast... from Lyme Rigis to Exmouth there is a different beach for each day of the week!
