What customers say
Beautiful, well-kept spot with big pitches & spotless facilities. Owners are friendly & helpful. Great for exploring coast. Tiny gripes: dog field a bit wild, road's tight. Most folks loved it and would happily return.

A really pleasant, peaceful family managed site
Electric grass pitch
Liked The atmosphere on site, the warm welcome received, spectacular views of the countryside from the site.
Old Plough pub is a couple of minutes drive, although I would say that it's not a particularly safe walk.
Facilities are excellent, with very clean toilets, showers and dishwashing area. There is also access to a washing machine and dryer.
For children, there's a small playpark and a range of domestic pets, including rabbits, guinea pigs and horses.
Disliked Only 1 aspect which is the access lane to the site is very narrow, giving the impression of a farm track. Otherwise, no negatives.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Quiet, very quiet at night.
Fast and free internet.
4-5 minutes to the A30
7-8 minutes to Truro
Saw green woodpeckers flying about.
Disliked No way to regulate shower temperature - it was just too hot

Lily Hobbit House cabin
Liked It had everything I was looking for. The pod was spacious, and there was plenty of outdoor space to sit and relax. The washing facilities were outstanding.
I only regret not booking a longer stay, but I will definitely be coming back!

Electric grass pitch
Liked Fabulous gem of a site - peaceful, lush and unregimented so very relaxing. Well
maintained and although the facilities aren’t particularly modern, they are scrupulously clean and more than enough

Visit! You won’t be disappointed!
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Location was great, great base close to the A30 and easily shootable to Newquay, Perranporth, st Ives and Truro. Also close to Healey’s cyder farm which is a great choice for an afternoon.
The site itself was peaceful.
Felt immediately welcomed into the micro community - wardens J&D who were there couldn’t have been better!
Showers hot - entire block although slightly dated always very clean and had everything you need. (I’m usually very fussy and cautious over booking if I can’t see what toilets/showers are like - had no concerns!)

Quiet and peaceful setting.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Everything about it. Toilets were clean, warm and stocked with loo roll. Easy to check in/ check out. We will be staying there again.
Disliked There is nothing to dislike about the campsite itself. The drive down is a bit slim but we managed fine in a Ford transit!
