  • Peaceful family site five miles from Land's End and stunning beaches
  • Play area, dog exercise field and TV room
  • Five minutes' walk from village with shop, pub and post office
Go west… and then west some more, for the highly stunning scenery around lush Land's End and Tower Park Caravans and Camping, in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Penwith peninsula. Land's End is five miles from this scenic site (John O'Groats is 833 miles, in case you were curious), and it's four miles or about 10 minutes by car to Cornish coast and sands at Porthcurno, an award-winning beach overlooked by the fab Minack Theatre. The also-spectacular Sennen Cove and its famed surf is 10 minutes to the west from here. Closer to home, it's a five-minute stroll from the site to St Buryan village, where there's a pub, a shop and a post office. This is a peaceful and family-run place, among splendid scenery and with plenty of room on accommodation areas and around the site. Facilities include a play area and a TV room, along with well-kept essentials including modern showers and toilets, a launderette and a disabled-access shower room. A small shop and takeaway food are available in high season. Tower Park welcomes dogs and has an exercise field for four-legged guests.

What customers say

A neat, quiet campsite with generous, private pitches. Friendly staff and clean (if a bit old-fashioned) ablutions. Great for exploring locally. Kids' play area and dog walks a hit. Book electric hook-ups early! Showers can be short.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Stayed here for a week with my partner and child . Probably one of the best campsites ive been too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and the pitch was literally next to the park so we could supervise our daughter whilst staying at our pitch. Will definitely be coming back next year. Good location as well. Toilets and showers were so clean

Electric grass pitch

Liked What a lovely little gem of a campsite! We were looking for a quiet, friendly, family-run site and this place was exactly what we hoped for. From the moment we arrived, the owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

The site has everything you could want for a comfortable stay, including a reception and little shop for essentials, clean and hot showers and toilets, hairdryers, a washing-up area, waste disposal and a small playground. There are both electric and non-electric pitches, with some pitches also having picnic tables.

There’s a really useful washroom with washing machines, a dryer and ironing facilities, plus a lovely indoor area with comfy sofas, free Wi-Fi, mobile charging points and plenty of leaflets for ideas of days out.

We also loved the fact that a food van visits the site selling pizzas and chippy food — perfect when you don’t fancy cooking! There’s a farm shop just a short drive away, and the village is only about a 5-minute walk, with a pub, café and Londis shop.

The wildlife was an added bonus. We spotted a swallow’s nest with chicks and watched their mum feeding them, as well as lots of colourful butterflies and rabbits. It really added to the peaceful, countryside feel of the site.

A wonderful little campsite with genuinely friendly people, great facilities and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We would happily return and would definitely recommend it to families or anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay. ❤️🏕️

Electric grass pitch

Liked My wife, our 3-year-old, and I spent a wonderful week at Tower Park Caravans and Camping, and we had an amazing time.

The site is perfectly located, close to all the beaches we love. The pitches were spacious, everything was clean, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—nothing ever seemed too much trouble.

One moment that really stood out was when I asked a member of staff if he could take the stabilisers off my daughter's bike. He happily did it, and she went on to learn to ride her bike like a big girl. It made our holiday even more special.

A perfect place for families—we'll definitely be back!

Disliked The only negative was the showers only stay on for 5 seconds.

Liked Lovely peaceful campsite with plenty of space to relax, all the facilities you need and friendly helpful staff. Great location for exploring the South of Cornwall and St Buryan's is a lovely little village, definitely looking forward to staying again in the future.

Disliked Only slight improvement I can think of would be a better quality freezer for freezer blocks, put them in overnight every night and they didn't fully freeze making it a bit tricky to keep food fresh in the hot weather

Local attractions

Spend significant time on your west Cornish hol at Porthcurno, the stunning big beach that's rightly famed for its views, fine sands and clean water (if you're a connoisseur of the BBC's Poldark, you may spot that Porthcurno is the body double for Nampara Cove). There are – but of course – spectacular views from the cliffs above, where you can access the South West Coast Path if you're feeling active, or take in a show at the Minack Theatre if not. Porthcurno's also home to the award-winning Telegraph Museum, an interactive and family-focussed place that tells the tale of how the village was once the most connected area on the planet. From Porthcurno, it's about 20 minutes' drive to Penzance, 40 minutes to St Ives and half an hour to famed St Michael's Mount, the tidal island just offshore of the town of Marazion. You'll also be within easy reach of outdoorsy pursuits like surfing, fishing, sailing, kayaking, diving and climbing, and among weeks' worth of wildlife watching and birdwatching: dolphins, basking sharks, seals, leatherback turtles, Cornish choughs and peregrine falcons are among the many species to see.
