Nestled in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty in Cornwall, Pennance Mill Farm and Camping Park is family-run, family friendly and dog friendly. The site consists of eight acres of meadow split into four peaceful fields, with hardstanding, grass and electric pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes. The site is ideally located for beach trips, coastal walks and day trips into vibrant Falmouth. Set in a valley lined with flourishing native plants and Cornish hedgerows, this traditional site has been run by the same family for three generations. The site is perfect for friends, families or anyone looking for a base to explore South West Cornwall's beautiful coast. With over eight acres of sunny meadow to choose from, the campsite is large and spacious. Guests are free to pitch tents wherever they please! One of the site's main attractions is its private footpath and cycle path that'll take you directly to Maenporth Beach within twenty minutes. From there you can join the coastal path towards Swanpool or the Helford Passage. The site is well located for visiting lively Cornish towns such as Truro (just 25 minutes away) and Falmouth (only ten). If you don't fancy driving, there's a bus stop outside the Falmouth Pitch and Putt (10 minutes walk). Pennance Mill Farm also has Chalet accommodation, with the largest accommodating 6 people. Ther is also a Shepherd's hut available to rent, this can accommodate 2 people and benefits from the use of the campsite amenities. Best yet, there's no need for your four-legged friends to miss out on all the fun! All pitches are dog friendly, so long as they are well behaved and kept on leads around the site. Fires and BBQs are also permitted so long as they are kept off the ground. Fire pits are available to hire at a cost of £10 per night. The closest train station is Penmere train statio (20 minute walk), the cloest bus stop can be found outside the Falmouth Pitch and Putt ( 10 minute walk) you can catch the 65A into the vibrant town of Falmouth! The Falmouth Pitch and Putt can be found on-site by walking up the private path. This is also owned by the Jewell family and is a great family activity! There is a 9-hole pitch and putt course (£6 per adult, £4 per child), and a 18 hole mini golf (£4 per adult, £3 per child). Maenporth Beach can be reached via our private path (20 minute walk), this beach is sheltered and is great for any family wanting a beach day! Falmouth town itself is a great place to visit with a variety of small retailers and scrumptious bakeries!
