Electric grass pitch

Liked: We really liked the campsite. Every pitch has his own picknic table, witch we didn't use because of the weather. The pitches are large and with electricity.

Disliked: What we didn't was the duration of the waterflow of the showers. It is really short.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Our stay was immense from start to finish. The owner was super welcoming and has really done a top job with this site which is clearly very well looked after. The location is awesome for doing many of Cornwall’s sights and beaches so was an excellent base. The campsite is very well laid out with plenty of space on each pitch and the picnic tables were great. The facilities were some of the cleanest and well-kept we’ve seen and importantly for us super child friendly. The showers were spacious and hot and the toilets were immaculate with wipes provided for the seats. The washing machine and dryer were also available and for £1 we were able to dry all of our towels very quickly. The Wi-Fi signal was also amazing much more our children’s satisfaction. We will most definitely return. Thank you.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Exceptionally clean shower/toilet block and separate washing up area. The pitches are very good sizes which means you have space between neighbours. Hosts are very friendly and happy to help at all times! Perfect base to explore where you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet close enough to all amenities without having to travel far! Would recommend this campsite to everyone!

Local attractions

A 10-minute drive from the coast and the South West Coast Path, the site is well placed for scenic rambles along wild Cornish coastline. Particularly spectacular views are to be had in and around Marazion, where a glance seaward casts eyes on the stunning St Michael’s Mount (reachable at low tide along a causeway from the mainland). That’s far from the only must-visit coastal spot hereabouts either: it’s a 45-minute drive to Land’s End, England’s most westerly point, for plenty of photo opps and a Cornish cream tea – that’s jam, then cream, people – before heading homeward. Keen historians may be drawn to the grandiosity of the ruined but sprawling Godolphin House and Gardens, five minutes away, while budding horticulturists should smell the roses at Glendurgan and Trebah gardens (35 minutes), Trewithian Gardens and the Eden Project (both about an hour). Town time can be spent wandering cobbled streets in pretty St Ives, exploring gardens, galleries and museums in Penzance (and boat trips to the Scilly Isles), or clambering around Henry VIII’s Pendennis Castle in Falmouth, all within about half an hour of the site.
