What customers say

Great site! Clean pods/grounds. Friendly staff, peaceful, beautiful views. Pods well-equipped, comfy, often with en-suites/kitchenettes. Ideal for exploring. Wi-Fi cost/reliability and pod info could improve. Limited on-site facilities. Sofa beds a bit short for some.

Camping pod

Liked Pristine park and pod, loads of open space for dogs to run around. We didn't take one but this was very much appreciated by my 16 month old. Staff were excellent, everyone would say hello or wave and we were checked on the first morning to check everything was in working order.

Disliked I paid for bed linen hire as the listing says to bring your own. However other reviews (my fault for reading after the fact) state that linen is provided in pods so think I've paid £15 for someone to make one bed. Sofa bed wasn't made up even though I'd booked for 3 people. Also not so much a criticism as the park doesn't claim to have this, but could possibly benefit from a shop or cafe. Other than a small play area there wasn't a lot for kids to do on site. Very much a dog owners site.

Camping pod (pet friendly)

Liked Clean, up to date, with fridge, cutlery and bed linen provided. Only things you will need are towels and soap. Good location with 10min drive to wonderful beach. Very good price. Id imagine great if you have dog too.

Disliked Confusing layout, both me and my neighbors were accidentally going in each others huts as they are very similar with no distinctive features other than similar name plate next to door. Not much for children to do on site, there was small playground but thats about it, i think its really themed for couples or elderly so im not taking any rating off just feedback. Charging for wifi is a sin. Though I had perfect signal outside the hut and patchy inside.

Local attractions

The sandy beaches of Bude - Sandymouth, Summerleaze, Crooklets et al - are just five minutes away, and the beauty of this stretch of coast means it's ideal for outdoorsy pursuits of every kind, from surfing, sailing and windsurfing, to fishing, golfing and birdwatching. Walkers and cyclists shouldn't miss the chance to explore the Camel Trail, which runs for 17 miles through some of the area's most spectacular scenery. When it comes to day trips, you can tick off a considerable number of Devon and Cornwall's must-sees: King Arthur's pad at Tintagel, the global greenery of the Eden Project, the cobbles and donkeys of Clovelly, gorgeous country estates such as Lanhydrock or Hartland Abbey, and a little further afield, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. For family fun, try the Blue Reef Aquarium (just one of an excellent range of child-friendly attractions in Newquay), the animal antics of the Big Sheep, or the popular Crealy Adventure Park.
