Coo, cop a look at these Cornish coast views… Cornish Coasts Caravan and Camping Park is, not surprisingly, on the Cornish coast (the north side), but from this four-acre site you can also see across to Devon’s Lundy Island and you're only about half an hour away from that county’s coast too (yes, the north side as well). Beaches? Less than five miles away at the handsome little town of Bude. Small and friendly Cornish Coasts is one of the oldest established parks in the area, so the owners know what’s what for making guests tick and ensuring they return year after year. You might also reckon that site owners who say they take pride in the cleanliness of their toilets and showers will tick all the right boxes too, as will new and improved features on site: the amenities block has power that which provide lashings of free hot water all day. The site has a café that serves a breakfast and lunch menu. A takeout menu is available every Friday night, plus Saturdays nights during summer school holidays. There is also a farm shop and camping supplies shop, which are both open daily. Other (very clean) amenities include a launderette, baby changing facilities, covered dishwashing area and a chemical waste disposal point. Hairdryers are available too, so you can look your best in those Cornish Coast photos. Please note that this site does not have direct access to the coast path or space for dog walking (although places like these can be reached within a few minutes' drive). It is next to a main road, so there may be some traffic noise, although this also makes it all the easier to discover Cornwall.

Friendly, clean, well-run site. Staff helpful, location great for Bude/Widemouth Bay. Good farm shop, cafe, and showers. Toilets could do with updating, and some pitches get soggy after rain. Nice for families, but road noise sometimes an issue.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely site with tiered pitches. Great views and superb sunsets. Facilities lovely and clean if a little dated. Cafe was amazingly busy with locals and campers due to its good sized tasty meals. Convenient bus stops just outside of site.

Disliked Nothing except although on the bus route… the bus we wanted didn’t turn up but thats out of their control 😊

Liked very private family run site , very good main site store and cafe...clean bathrooms and not packed in tight

Disliked not much to dislike, grade going down into the pitch area is steep and tent people beware that the ground is not consistently level ... everything else is +++

Liked The lady was so nice , great host showed our pitch , along with where toilet , showers etc. They had a lovely farm shop onsite along with a cafe . Bonus part was they do a online take away on a Friday night for campers. never had that in any place we have camped before , all staff on site was great , 100% will go back again

Liked Friendly staff peaceful pitch, excellent food in restaurant, farm shop.

Disliked Showers with little space for clothes, however they were spotlessly clean.possibly greater number of showers available.

Liked Lovely small campsite. Nice welcoming and a very well kept site. Had plenty of space and easy to use electric hook up.

Disliked The showers were very basic and water ran down the steps from time to time.

Local attractions

You could spend your entire hol on the sands and in the sea if you were so inclined: the long bay and miles of sand of Widemouth Bay are three miles away from Cornish Coasts for surfing, rockpooling or stretching out on golden sand; Bude is five miles away, and Summerleaze, Sandymouth, Crackington Haven and Crooklets are within 10 to 15 minutes’ drive. If you’re new to the surf, this area has a good handful of surf schools to show you the ropes; if you prefer to stay on land, the South West Coast Path runs alongside Poundstock, the village nearest to Cornish Coasts. Going along the coast towards Newquay, the medieval fishing village of Boscastle, eight miles from Cornish Coasts, is a popular tourist spot, probably best known for its handsome harbour and National Trust visitor centre in its old ‘pilchard palace'. Also the stuff of legends, Tintagel and its King Arthur associations are three miles along the coast from Boscastle: climb up to Tintagel Castle high on the coast for tales of Arthur and some seriously stunning views across the water (you should be able to see Lundy Island from here too). Going into Devon, take the kids to new heights at the Milky Way Adventure Park in Bideford; the town is also where you can catch the ferry to lovely Lundy Island.
