What customers say

A peaceful, eco-friendly spot with a relaxed vibe. Friendly owner, big pitches, rescue animals. Facilities are basic, some say unkempt, lacking TP. Still, many enjoyed it & would return.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked Peaceful site a pleasant walk from the coast path and town with its good pubs and facilities.

Simple eco approach to provision, some level pitches available, the rest on gentle slopes.

Disliked Showers weren't that warm when we stayed.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked A lovely tranquil site, close enough to Bude to walk.
The walk along the canal and through the marshes is really nice.
The eco facilities are brilliantly kept and having phone Chargers is a good facility.

Disliked Nothing to dislike. I hope that guests appreciate the ethos of the site.

Non-electric grass campervan pitch

Liked Chilled out quirky eco site with firewood for sale, animals and close to the canal go walk into Bude (a mile). 10 mins from Upton Beach with some great rock pooling and dramatic rocks and where you can jump on the south west coastal path.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person, small)

Liked Beautiful location, amazing skies

Disliked I stayed here about 5 years ago, and came back with my daughter as I was so impressed before. Sadly, the site is no longer what it used to be! The wildlife pond has dried up and the walkways/bench area are in poor repair. The veg patches don’t seem to be there anymore for salad picking, and the horses are no longer accessible for apples! The facilities were poorly maintained, the old coffee/pancake van is long gone along with the communal benches. Nice to see heather the alpaca is still there tho, but sadly I will be taking my little one elsewhere next time
