Electric optional grass tent pitch
Liked: Area was really beautiful. Plenty of space to pitch the tent. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Disliked: Only 1 toilet and shower for men and the same for women ( apart from disabled toilet) , where there is a lot of pitches, could it being a issue when full

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gwel-an-Nans. I would rate this as my favourite campsite to date! The setting is idyllic. The peace and quiet was perfect. Norma, the campsite owner/manager is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble. She is very friendly and welcoming. This is a great site location for nature lovers, with bird song all around. The woods at Cardinham are an amazing place to walk the dogs. There is a great cafe in the woods to make the very long walk worthwhile! We also walked to the dog friendly cafe at the Stable Art Studio. The pay as you go electric worked really well, and is a very good idea. We enjoyed saying hello to the on-site donkeys each day. The site has a lovely nature walk through fields and woods, with a beautiful stream, which is open seasonally, weather and conditions dependent. We did visit it a few times with the dogs. It is an amazing on-site perk! All in all, a tremendous time at this gem of a site. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Liked: Well spaced out level pitches with a short walk to the toilets and showers which had the hottest water we have come across. Great dog walks straight from the entrance and a great view across the meadow to the valley.
Disliked: Electricity is extra and the minimum payment was £5

Liked: Good size pitch, lovely and quiet. The hosts were very helpful when we arrived showed us where to find everything. Good walks near by. Hot shower which was nice. We had a nice relaxing stay
Disliked: Ablutions need abit of tlc. Squeegee would be abit better in the shower rather than the mop as made it very wet. Only one shower in men’s and only one in ladies.
