Liked: Sharon and Ruth are very friendly and have a morning walk around the site making sure everyone is happy. We had an issue which they sorted very quickly. Pitches are a good size and there is a large area for children to play. There are 4 cubicles in ladies and 4 cubicles in men's with a shower, toilet and basin in each. Plus 2 separate toilets and basins, all kept clean. There is also 4 washing up sinks and clothes washing facilities. We will definitely return. A barrier for security is also a plus.
Disliked: WiFi could be a little better.

From the manager: Suzanne, thank you so much for this lovely review. it was lovely to meet you and have a little chat now and then. We are glad that you were happy with everything. Regarding the wifi, we have last week had an improvement installed and so are hoping that this will now assist the wifi with reaching out into the park. We would love to see you both again sometime. The Oak View Team.
Will definitely stay there again.

From the manager: Thank you very much Debbie. It was lovely to have you both here, we got used to having your tent there and now your pitch looks very bare. 🙁 We are glad that you liked everything during your stay and we would really love to see you again one day. Best Wishes to you both. The Oak View Team.

From the manager: Thank you very much Paul for taking time out of your day to write us a review. It is a peaceful park, when we aren't busy just birdsong and the wind in the trees 😊 We have looked into the possibility of having a shop onsite in the past. This has never really worked out because A) We don't have anywhere to put one and B) After having trialled deliveries from the local shop, we find that most of our customers do bring everything with them anyway and don't need to use this service. We do inform our customers on arrival about the village shop, a 5 minute drive away, there is a Tesco's close by and also a M&S with a food hall. Just Eat and Deliveroo will also deliver a take away of your choice to the barrier and anyone with an Amazon Prime account can have shopping delivered here through them, plus there is a local Co-op that will deliver. We also have our Fish & Chip man Tom and his wife who are here on Saturday nights when we are busy. Unfortunately, the same applies to a restaurant, the pub next to the shop in the village serves food and is dog friendly and so we point all our customers in it's direction. 😊 The Oak View Team.

Liked: We loved our stay at Oak View. After a very long flight from Australia, Sharon was so helpful in making sure we had a hot cup of tea. The grounds were very tidy and the facilities were immaculate. I would recommend staying here. The local pub which is in walking distance,The Cock Horse was very inviting and a great meal was had.

From the manager: Wow, you're lucky, Sharon never makes me a cup of tea 😂 Thank you for your fantastic review and for recommending us. That makes us very happy indeed and we would love to see you again next time you are in the UK. Wishing you safe and happy travels. The Oak View Team.

Liked: Just came back from 4 nights at Oak View park and had a lovely time We booked 5 pitches and most with children, the ladies went out their way to put as altogether with was very much appreciated! The site was small but had everything we needed and the toilets and shower blocks we spotless and kept clean at all times, it’s the first site I have been to where the toilet, shower and sink are all in one cubicle and I loved this especially when taking young children in too. Because the site was small our children made so many friends and we were able to keep an eye on them from the tents while the adults could relax ☺️ I would definitely recommend this site to anyone!

From the manager: Thank you so much Wendy for the review! It was lovely to have you all stay and we are glad that the weather was pretty good for you for most of the weekend. We do try our best to put groups together as long as we have plenty of notice. We especially need to have this if you want to be together but are coming in with different units, ie: tents and motorhomes. We do have places where we can place you together in that situation but they are limited. Just make sure that let us know when you book! We do also try to put the children all together in one area so that they can make friends and play. Thank you very much for taking the time to take some photos too. The Oak View Team.

Liked: On arrival we were able to move pitch to be with family as we didn't book together. The ladies at the site were so accommodating! Everything was clean including the toilets and the showers No queues for the washing Sink Barrier was very easy to use with no time restraints as to when we could return The ladies that own the park wandered around all the time ensuring everyone was OK Not over crowded Easy to get to even with a show on at detling showground
Disliked: The lady cleaning the toilet was constantly on her phone on loud speaker discussing how she 'couldn't be arsed' We couldn't keep the car on our pitch - had to go in the overflow carpark

From the manager: Hi, Thank you for the lovely review, it was so lucky that we had a cancellation and could move you nearer to your mum. For the amount of people we had in this weekend, it went really, really well, everyone was lovely and so friendly, you can all come back again!! Unfortunately, due to the amount of people, more people equals more mess in the toilets .... Hence the grumpy cleaner, but we will have a word with her. The Oak View Team
