Little Switzerland Caravan Site in a unique position, beneath the famous white cliffs of Folkestone. The cliffs are known as the Hellfire Corner – aptly named following its battering during The Battle of Britain. The site is a former WW2 base enjoying breathtaking views across the English channel and over the Warren Country Park, accessible via a well-maintained path. Folkestone is only 15 minutes' walk away from the campsite. The campsite is ideal for an overnight stop on your way to the continent. The Channel Tunnel is only 5 minutes away from the site and Dover Ferry Port is only a 10-minute drive away. There is a toilet and shower block as well as free wifi and a washing-up area.

The site can be easily found from the M20: leave at Junction 13, follow the signs to Folkestone Harbour. Then follow the signs for the church, the site is 300 yards from the church. From the town centre of Folkestone follow the signs for the Folkestone Warren.

Local attractions

The East Cliff is just a short walk from the caravan site. Here guests can enjoy spectacular views across the Channel. There is also a Sports Centre with a mini golf, a tennis court, bowls court and a picnic area. From the campsite, it's also possible to reach the sandy beaches and seafront walks of Folkestone. Guests can also visit the local Kent Battle of Britain Museum, housed in the former RAF Hawkinge. The museum displays aircraft, vehicles, weapons, prints and relics from over 600 crashed aircrafts. The campsite is also close to Dover, famous for its white cliffs and for the medieval castle. Guests can also visit the city of Canterbury, where guests can visit the cathedral and the old town, with cobbled streets and timber-framed houses.
