Liked: What a beautiful site plenty of space the weather was very good the owners were extremely helpful a good sense of humour ( we arrived a little early just as he was fixing his electric gates.).We were welcomed with a smile and given details of different places within walking distance for a meal and other places accessible by car.
There was a large area to sit in on a decking with a table chairs and sun shade
Toilets/showers which were spotless a washing up area. Also added benefit of fresh eggs in the morning From the 2 chickens and ducks .
Petanque area..Will definitely visit again and pass on the site to our friends.

Liked: EVERYTHING! The owners were friendly but not in your face, they were available if needed, they were helpful and take great pride in their space. You can tell how much love and effort they have put into making it a great place for adults to come and truly relax.. from chicken and duck eggs, to a solar powered shower for sunny days and gas ones for others.. to free fire pits and wood for an evening fire..to a lovely decking area kitted out with tables, chairs, beanbags and a bbq which you're welcome to use. If you need any help to do with camping there, they are more than willing. My plug extension didn't quite reach and Richard quickly came to the rescue with a solution. It's a small site with a good space between pitches and little plant fences between each pitch giving a little extra privacy. It was a perfect stay and I will definitely go back.. 100% would recommend this site. Thank you Karen and Richard. Ohhhh and actual wifi connection if needed!
Disliked: Nothing to dislike 😁

Liked: Lovely owners who have worked hard to create a small, quiet, rural campsite. Good clean facilities and wide flat pitches. BBQ area. Great location for channel crossings and the south coast. Would definitely return and recommend.

Tallulah 1 bedroom on-site touring caravan
Liked: The caravan was immaculately clean as were the facilities on site. Lovely location in gorgeous countryside and only a few minutes drive to pubs and the town of Tenterden.
Disliked: The hot water in the caravan worked intermittently and l had to have two cold showers and wash in freezing cold water throughout our stay. This was very unpleasant particularly as it was cold outside. We were not given full instructions as to how to problem solve issues and only received half a sheet of instructions. On one of the evenings we struggled to get the heating to work and there was no one around to ask.
We were asked to leave the caravan as we found it but there wasn't a dustpan and brush or vacuum cleaner so ended up trying to hand pick bits off the carpet. On our arrival the gas had run out so had to find the owner who replaced it..Asked for the password for the Internet and was told several times that it was on the information sheet we had been given. It transpired that we had not been given the other half of the instructions. Would have been nice if the owner realising his mistake bought us the full set as we may have been able to problem solve the heating / hot water issue. Would have given a higher rating if it hadn't been for this.
