What customers say

Brilliant spot for London access via public transport. Friendly staff, spotless facilities, and roomy pitches get top marks. Quiet and pleasant, great city base. A few shower facility upgrades and general upkeep suggestions noted.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Good location for central London if travelling by bus or car.
Near the river Lee (though no access to it from the site)
Level pitches with grass for awnings.

Disliked The showers were barely luke warm and one of the 3 ladies shower doors wouldn't lock, it looked like the seat in the shower had been ripped off the wall and one of the hooks on the door had been snapped off.
No where to walk the dog other than between motorhomes and no poo bins provided for them.
No bin in the wash up area.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (small)

Liked Great campsite for a stay in London. It looks like you're entering into an industrial estate and then the campsite appears like an oasis. Everything you need from tent pitches to gorgeous little glamping pods and a great area for you to get out into nature or a game of golf. Easy access into the city on public transport too. The staff are always warm and welcoming. I think this was our 5th or 6th visit.

Disliked The toilets and showers could maybe do with a bit of a spruce, and its a shame its now been forced into the ULEZ zone. More places like this need to stand up to little Hitler Khan and claim back the big smoke. ;-) We didn't use the wi-fi

Liked Really great campsite for a cheap night away in London, lovely and quiet, stayed in one of the wooden pods, basic but did us for the night and very cheap, we went to see ColdPlay so 30 mins from Wembley, highly recommend if want somewhere cheap to stay, we booked somebody's drive for £20 next to Wembley so no fuss, really waa easy

Local attractions

London, of course… get into the city in under an hour from the local station, Edmonton Green – trains run from here towards Liverpool Street station, gateway to the hundreds of things to see and do around the city. Those who've come to escape city throngs will happily find many activities available in the Lee Valley, Hertfordshire and Essex, from gentle walking and cycling trails to adrenaline-raising whitewater rafting or family paddling on the Olympic course at the Lee Valley White Water Centre (where the canoe slalom events were held during London 2012). Seasonal fishing is available in the area if you prefer a more placid pursuit, or you could take the crew along to Lee Valley Park Farms at Waltham Abbey, to meet meerkats, llamas, reindeer and other non-native (and native) critters, watch events like falconry displays and pig and lamb racing, or let the kids loose to career around one of the four adventure play areas. The 1,000 acres of River Lee Country Park should sort those who want to see critters in their natural habitat, as well as those who want to walk, cycle, or get out into the water in a canoe, rowing boat, electric boat or pedalo.
