Well, the peaceful, dog-friendly pitches at this site are part of an old eight miles from Blackpool, so lively attractions such as Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark and amusement piers are just 25 minutes’ drive away. At this site, your immediate vicinity is the Lancashire countryside, so there’s no shortage of space and quiet to indulge in. While it feels pretty rural and remote here, the local hostelry is only a 10-minute walk away - convenient when you just want to wander down to somewhere close by. There are several more country pubs within five minutes’ drive of the site and Poulton-le-Fylde (10 minutes’ drive) has a ton more eateries and shops for extra measure. Handily, those of you who are looking to leave the car behind can make the most of the village bus stop – an easy way to get down to the coast. When you’re after a meal without the journey time, you’ll be able to start up a barbecue to eat outdoors alfresco-style. As dogs are allowed, you can always save any leftovers for them to polish off.
