View prices & book- Small site in the Cumbria countryside, 15 minutes’ drive from Kendal
- Sizergh Castle 15 minutes’ drive; Windermere half an hour
- Archery, quad biking and axe throwing; toilet and shower block
Site type
- Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
- Group bookings of 2 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- The park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- This is a quiet park: no music is allowed.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.

Liked: The view and proximity to the motorway.
Disliked: Track going up to the camp site was quite rough for conventional cars. Water wasn't particularly hot.

Liked: Location was good, easy to find, peaceful area, checking in was simple pick your own pitch.
Disliked: Facilities (showers) could have been better. Difficult to shower young child when shower is only one temperature (too hot for child)

Liked: The site was very clean and secure for the little ones to roam and play. The toilet and shower facilities were very clean, well maintained and felt comfortable using them. Didn't meet the owner but felt very welcomed via text message and phone call. Would definitely recommend and go again myself.
