Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Space, park and chippy.
Disliked The showers dont have enough hooks or a bench in them, so its alittle bit of a juggle to keep things off the wet floor.
The shower block near the bar is much better. Main toilet/shower block near park

Fantastic large site with amazing facilities. Amenities second to none
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Everything was amazing. The washing facilities were better than any other site I've been to so far and there was always a shower cubicle free. I was blown away by the convenience of having on-site electric car charging, which made the trip so much more stress-free. The sheer amount of space available was brilliant, I could choose to set my tent up almost anywhere I wanted, with a choice between being closer to the amenities or having a more rural feeling in the more isolated fields. The park was good for the children to use and the location of the site was easy to get to. The games room, bar, and shop were all pleasant additions which ensured the kids and adults both had plenty to do. The on-site chip shop is fantastic! Fairly priced with generous portions and extremely tasty. Certainly takes the stress out of forgetting to bring anything for the first night's tea like we did! The staff were all friendly too which was pleasing to see. The site even has wifi (though some spots on the fields wont reach) which brought technology and nature together. All in all, the best camping experience I've ever had and I definitely won't be wasting time in trying to find anywhere else to camp for our next trip as our family all agree we will be coming here for years to come!

Easy access thru security gate…
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (large, twin axle)
Liked Easy access thru security gate
Disliked Only one toilet and one shower cubicle which for the amount of pitches not good unless you walked to other end of site people always walking thru your pitch which should of been fenced off and generally not the best

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear you found the access through our security gate convenient.
We're sorry to learn of your concerns regarding the facilities and site layout. Just to clarify, we do have three shower and toilet blocks located across the site, available for all guests. We're always happy to point these out or assist with directions, and we really wish you'd brought this to our attention during your stay so we could have helped make things more comfortable for you.
Regarding the foot traffic through your pitch, we completely understand how that could be disruptive. Had we known at the time, we would have been more than happy to speak with those passing through and redirect them to a more appropriate route, as this isn't typical for those pitches. We're always here to help resolve issues as they arise.
We hope you'll consider staying with us again, as our site has a lot to offer.
