Liked: Great location with lots of local walks. Campsite facilities are excellent, and the little sie shop stocks everything you could need. The pub ( the brothers water inn) has excellent food and beer and everyone was really friendly. This was our second visit to the site and we are hoping to return.

Liked: The views from the campsite were incredible, and the facilities on site were very good. The shop was excellent and very well stocked, with a friendly and helpful reception. Within driving distance of some good walks.
Disliked: If you are unable to get a table at the quite small pub, there are no other walkable food options at night.

Liked: Stunning location, with perfect facilities including a well stocked little shop. Excellent location right on the doorstep of many wonderful walks. Also, we had excellent phone service while at the campsite- contrary to some reviews we read prior to our visit.

Liked: Lovely site in a great location. Shower block and loos were spotless. Also great to have an indoor pot washing area. Great pub at the entrance to the camp site.
Disliked: Unfortunately on our 2nd night, there were some young men who obviously hadn't known about the 10pm rule as they were talking until nearly midnight.

Liked: Great campsite which had everything we needed. The shop was well stocked, staff were friendly and very helpful. Toilet/shower facilities were cleaned regularly. There was a separate dog walking area for our dog to be off lead. Lots of good walks nearby including some straight from the campsite!

Liked: As soon as we arrived the views were amazing! Great to see a little shop that sold lots of odd bits in case you forgot anything! When it decided to rain and we had the dog who doesn't like it, the staff were very helpful with telling us places to go indoors with him!
Disliked: We stupidly only brought bbq food when the weather forecast decided to hate us! The only thing that bothered us on the first night was a group of friends camping behind us making a lot of noise and shouting until around half 12 at night, but they must have been told not to the next night as it was quieter. Just to add: there was a LOT of stones getting in the way of pitching, which we weren't aware of, so it might be worth letting people know to test the ground first BEFORE putting the tent down, although that may be because I'm not used to camping!
