Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked: Nice location, though difficult to access with a Ducato (exhaust pipe touched steep bridge)
Disliked: Price is much too high for a simple field, with a single portaloo and a water tap

From the manager: Dear Bjoern, Thank you for your comments. We are glad that you liked the location, and we are sorry to learn that you were not satisfied with the facilities and your Ducato incident. However, we have clearly stated that our site is "no-frills” place. Before your arrival, we texted you and advised you to visit our website for more details. On our website, we stated that "Important Notes: Access via a winding track and Doctor Bridge (3 meters wide, steep, with tight turns). Unsuitable for caravans or very low vehicles.” We also stated that “There is mobile signal in the valley." On your arrived on 21st June. There were only 4 pitches occupied. According to the guidelines of Lake District National Park, one toilet is sufficient. We appreciate your comments and we will try our best to provide a beautiful and peaceful environment for our guests. We do hope that you will come back again. Wishing you all the best Eskdale Valley Campsite
