Overall would definitely visit again
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Really great setting, great cafe / bistro fantastic walks
Disliked Toilet with combined showers were a little off putting. More often than not a layer of sandy water from people showering and others walking dirt and dust in whilst visiting the toilets. Would be better a separate shower block in my opinion.

Lovely big campsite, lots of pitches…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely big campsite, lots of pitches to chose from and quiet. Cafe was wonderful.
Disliked Shower and toilet facilities inadequate for the amount of people on site and consistently had water and loo roll on the floor and appeared to only be cleaned once a day

Looking forward to coming back for another weekend
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Peaceful location and lots of space even on bank holiday weekend. Great Saturday afternoon entertainment and lovely to walk along the canal from the campsite.
Disliked Always a queue at toilet/shower facility. Could do with some separate toilets to showers. Didn't help that cleaning seemed to happen right at peak time in the morning.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Pitch was lovely and open, ground was very flat so was nice for a tent and an air bed.
Private toilet and shower, although you weren’t able to tell when a cubical was occupied so the door handle would be tried while in the shower.
Showers were quite dirty at times but regularly cleaned. It’s a shame no one else on the site got the message to also try and keep them clean for others.
Washing us station was good with hot water.
Cafe is quite expensive but the food was very lovely.
We did the Saturday fun day activities, which were fun but was charged £10 for a baby who obviously didn’t take part in canoeing just sat on but was still charged

Brilliant camp site
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked relaxed atmosphere. Good toilet and shower facilities that were cleaned daily. Lovely cafe and live music two afternoons. Our children joined the bush craft activities which were great.
Disliked Cannot see if toilets/showers were locked.

We still really enjoyed our stay on the site, it’s a beautiful site.
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Customer service is brilliant!
We had trouble with our electric hook up on the first night, this was swiftly sorted and a complimentary breakfast was thrown in to compensate.
Disliked The site was a little busier due to the bank holiday with a lot of campers on the camping field.
In turn making the bathroom facilities very mucky…can’t be helped though.

Fantastic overall and gave already booked to go again in October 😊
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Amazing site, lovely views and plenty of lovely walks.
Singer on over the weekend which was lovely to sit outside and listen too whilst having a drink in the lovely weather.
Disliked Toilet and shower block clean but after showering floor gets very wet which made the whole area wet and slippy as toilet and shower in the same room.
Not alot of toilets/showers for whole site especially if it's busy.
