Camping pod
Liked: £30 for a camping pod on a Saturday night was great value. The pod was clean and roomy for 3 lads camping for the night. No faults there. Outside the pod had picnic bench and an area to park one car. The pitch was a decent location as well, not too overcrowded with other pods or caravans giving you some sense of privacy.
Disliked: Communal toilets / shower area. Not terrible, but far for great. These were pretty worn down and smelt of stale urine. I don’t think these were cleaned as much as the site probably made out. Some guests clearly had no respect for the shared area as I came to discover one toilet showing the signs of a poo explosion with excrement covering the top of the toilet seat!!! Why??? Just clean your own mess.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Lovely friendly site. Plenty for the children to do. 3 play parks, swimming and amusements. Some lovely country walks with the dog.
Disliked: Some of the pitches are quite small. So we had to be moved as our caravan was too big

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Beautiful site with loads to do. Pitch size was good, loads to do with children. Both parks were a massive hit and we felt we were able to give our daughter some freedom while there. We had some friends staying in the pods. There was loads of space to play. Club is cheesy, but everyone loved it. Will definitely return.
Disliked: Toilets and showers were dire. Felt sorry for the cleaners, they can only do so much. A couple of cubicles for a site that size is pitiful and not fit for purpose. There was a large family who left them is a state that I wouldn't put a dog in. No words! The pods have literally nothing on them, no benches, beds, nothing. So prepare yourself for that, some friends called a head and they were told there were mattresses. They're isn't. Long trip to Berwick to buy some blow up beds.
