What customers say
A tranquil, roomy spot with big, flat sites. Loads of space for kids to play. Clean ablutions, with handy vending machines. Owner Liz is a gem. A bit windy sometimes, and not loads of showers, but great value and a super base.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Fantastic site. Pitches are spacious, vending machines a lovely addition, communal fridges incredibly useful, toilets and showers well maintained. Also a great spot for dark skies, away from light pollution and not much traffic on the adjacent road.

Wouldn't stay again as was made to feel unwelcome.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Spacious pitches.
Disliked We left the day after arriving due to being moaned at as our children was making noise coming back from the toilet. Our children were excited to be camping with friends and it was ruined by the owner/manager.
This place is mot children friendly/family oriented.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely level field, facilities were spotlessly clean, spacious pitches. Our first time camping on our own and Liz was so lovely and helpful. We had a brilliant time and will be back?
Disliked Nothing about the campsite. First night was spoilt by large group drinking and shouting late into night, but owner dealt with them well and second night was lovely and peaceful!

Liked The campsite was lovely and spacious with great views. We really liked the extra facilities of the milk machine, pies and eggs! Liz was lovely too!
Disliked Could have had more showers as it was busy and only having 1 meant it was difficult to squeeze in to the crowd

Ash bell tent (six person)
Liked Its a fantastic camp site location and Liz manages all the details very well. We loved our night in the bell tent, with so much room inside for us all.
We treated ourselves to a campfire kit and extra stock of wood one night. It was the icing on the cake for a night under the stars. You simply have to have a well controlled fire to enjoy camping. Liz has all you ll need to enjoy your camping trip.
We'll be back.

Lovely site, would definitely return
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely big site, good sized pitches, good location, nice flat ground. Liz was very friendly and accomodating. Would definitely come back
Disliked My only dislike was that there was only 1 shower for the women and 1 for the men. Just also very cramed when people are brushing their teeth etc and having to keep the main door open was not very private when people were queueing
