From the manager: Thank you for your review, We are sorry there is no food available at the moment, however, we did email you before you arrival date to make you aware of this. The pods have a double bed, table and chairs, TV and heater in them, there is alo a picnic bench outside.

I was only there 2 days so only had a small bag.

Liked 2nd visit for us, we love the location as its a good central base for York etc...... facilities kept clean and topped up, reception very friendly and helpful. Lovely and quiet.

Liked Lovely clean pitches, very welcoming reception, all very clear and straightforward. Toilets very clean at any time of the day. As a new camper, I was relieved how easy everything was.
Disliked Limited and very basic shower facilities.
Couldn’t get Wi-Fi to work.

Liked Liked everything! Nicely laid out site, which had everything!
Everything was very clean and well kept throughout the whole stay!
Staff were amazing and super friendly, special mention to the Caretaker who was an absolute legend!
Would definitely come back!
Disliked The only thing we have to mention is the fact that they need to note down who stays on each numbered pitch.
We were there for 4 days and after 2 days of being on the same pitch we left for the day only to find someone else fully set up on our pitch when we returned. A little annoying but would not stop us from returning!

Liked Loverly caravan park pitches very good size.
The park is located in a peaceful little village and perfect for a relaxing time.the site has an on site bar which is excellent and all staff and locals very friendly and welcoming
