What customers say
A peaceful, clean, adult-only site with helpful staff and neat pitches. Enjoy the pub, restaurant, and country walks. The small touring area is great for relaxing. Showers can be limited and Wi-Fi is sometimes spotty.

A very peaceful Bank Holiday weekend
Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked This is a lovely site. There's a pub that is lovely & they do a FANTASTIC Sunday lunch (I recommend booking if you want to go for this).
This is mostly a static holiday park with 6 touring pitches. The pitches are spacious with a picnic bench, water & electric. Behind the pitches is a small block with showers toilets, and a pot wash sink. The facilities are small but there are only 6 pitches & it was perfectly adequate for us, we never had to wait for anything & it was August bank holiday weekend.
There's a crown green bowling pitch which residents used each morning & we enjoyed watching. There's also a day room with pool tables in, although we didn't use this.
There is also 2 electric car charging points & the rate is very reasonable.
The WiFi didn't really work for us at our pitch but it wasn't an issue because 4G was fine.
There's not much in the immediate surrounding area, so its best if you have a car if you want to get out & about. You can walk to the river from the site & my husband did each morning to fish, there is an honesty box at the public footpath & its £5 per day.
The kites are a fantastic sight to see & you can hear & see them each day from the touring pitches. As avid bird watchers we found them fascinating to watch.
We drove to Knaresborough, a beautiful place, you can hire boats on the river & eat at one of many of the riverside cafes. You are also not far from Leeds & Harrogate.
Disliked Nothing.

Liked We like the quietness of the park and friendly people. The pub was lovely. Only problem we heard was that they will be no motorhome sites next year sad to say only for static caravans being built.
