Clean, tidy, small, friendly site
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked This was our first night away in our new camper, we have had caravans in the past but this is a new adventure. We found Crooklands to be a well kept and tidy site, there was also a water point and a light on each electric hook up post. Steve was so friendly and hospitable, if you needed any help he would definitely be there to assist. Even though the pitches are near to the road, the traffic did not disturb us. The views across the fields were beautiful.
Disliked Nothing to dislike

Great little site. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Lovely clean little site away from the madding crowd with great views over the beautiful countryside. Five even gravel pitches with water and electric hook-up and a neat grassed area for your table and chairs. Owner Steve was super helpful and friendly when I had a small mishap with my caravan (first time out on my own😳) and even gave me some duck tape to go!
Disliked Now I’m stuck - what’s not to like?

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Loved it only 5 Pitches nice flat gravel standing pitches, with grass at front. Little road noise but not very noticeable. Steve the owner was so helpful as was his son Oliver who helped us set our TV up lovely family.Site spotless, great footpath down side of fields ideal for safe dog play. Austwick village is couple of miles away with lovely friendly country pub and it's a pretty little village ,shop openings not very good. All in all a great week and yes we will DEFINITELY be back for some peace and quite. Fabulous sunset over the lovely hills.
Disliked No dislikes about the site. However Austwick is only short distance away with little shop tiny village lovely country pub. Its a busy road with NO FOOTPATHS so not safe for my mobility scooter and wouldn't like to walk to or from village, especially in dark so had to use car and have non alcohol drinks. No facilities but most caravans etc have toilets and showers so that didn't bother us at all.

From the manager: Hi Shirley ,It was great to meet you and Keith ,thank you for your great review and we are delighted you had a great time.
There is a public footpath that takes you into Austwick which is about 100 yards from the site entrance but unfortunately not suitable for a mobility scooter .
Would be nice to see you both in the future. If I am not around I would be happy to drop you off in Austwick and pick you up if you fancied a few drinks . Its just a few minutes drive so would be a pleasure.

A good stop for a night or two
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked It was clean, level, when I called to book in the owner was friendly. Electric points, water points and grey and black water disposal available. Great access to local village and a great pub in the village
Disliked Little overpriced as limited facilities, currently no toilet or showers, but we were aware of this prior to booking, Road noise started to disturb around 5am as its quite close to the road and its busy

From the manager: We really appreciate feed back so thank you for taking the time to review. We did take advice on an appropriate price from Pitch up and other providers for area and facilities we provide and priced under the recommended price for the area and season. We are a small five pitch site so have no plans to provide a shower & toilet block. We are just off the main A65 which is a busy road in the daytime so sorry if you could hear the road from your pitch.
Everything 😊 excellent facilities, great base…

Quiet, small site. Friendly host
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked We loved the warm welcome we received from Tina. The site itself is very well presented. The views over the fields are fantastic. The site is just off the main road with the pitches on a lower level behind a white cottage. We slept so well here the road noise was minimal and certainly not noticeable. Halfway between Kirkby Lonsdale and Skipton it is ideally situated for exploring the local area. A very quiet, intimate, pristine site. We will definitely be returning. Thankyou for a lovely stay 😊
