Liked: There was alot to like about this campsite. Peter was very friendly and shared his knowledge of the local area, things we could see and explore while in York. The site was always clean - toilets, showers and washing up area. There was plenty of space between pitches. We had one night with torrential rain but by the morning most areas there was no signs of the down pour.

Liked: Loved everything! A secure site with level pitches and great facilities. A warm personal welcome was received on arrival. There has been real attention to detail with everything thought through to create a well run, tidy site with everything you need and clean and warm facilities. We woke to birds singing with a real "away from it all' feel, yet a few wins down the road is a huge retail park with sainsburys, asda, Starbucks, cinema, and loads of shops. Easy to reach the beautiful York City centre (use park and ride to avoid parking woes) and all it has to offer. Just an all round great site!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing to dislike!

Liked: Owner was pleasant and allowed us to stay another night on short notice. Shower room was good. I wish I had fetched my fishing gear as there is a well stocked pond on site.
Disliked: Service area could do with an update, chemical waster needs a good clean.
