What customers say
A no-frills spot with clean ablutions & water. Loved for its quiet setting, roomy stands, and the great New Inn pub nearby. Good grub, beer & staff. Basic, but great value and chilled vibe. Popular for overnight stays or a quiet country escape.

Can't guarantee a peaceful stay here
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Great location, pub was nice
Disliked In campsite 1 which was across the road a large group has hired the field and were celebrating loudly. One night music was booming all through the day until midnight, so much for the peace and quiet we came for. We ended up going out in the day to get some peace. It was so loud we could hear it clearly in our campervan and it kept us awake. didn't feel like we could approach them and no signal to call the campsite number. The people who run it never do any rounds of the campsite to check so people were doing as they please. The toilet block, bin and tap was also located in the field across the road, it all got messier as time went on so pretty sure it wasn't checked or cleaned at all. Not great for those with kids to have to cross the road to facilities and all to get to the pub it's a little walk along a road with no path
