Rainbow trout bell tent (pet friendly, waterside)
Liked: The space between the glamping units, the rural setting but close enough to visit Northallerton and other attractions. the views across the lake. That it was 'supposed' to be a quiet site and no noise from 10 pm. We would definitely stay again and liked the look of the De Soleil glamping tent, where it was located size and layout. If we booked again it would be that or the Dreamcatcher one we would chose. We didn't find the shower block but did use the toilet block near to us. It had a fridge to store items a sink with a tea towel and washing up liquid and a plug to charge our phones and was clean and pleasant to use though dated. Our unit had a covered place to sit out in that had a double gas hob, a fire pit, BBQ a kettle and BBQ utensils. We had decking and a picnic bench in front of our glamping bell tent and it was lovely sitting out on a sunny evening enjoying the views. The site has fishing which we wanted to try but run out of time as it was just a one night stopover. The guy on the reception was friendly and informative, the items such as BBQ briquettes, kindling and wood for the fire pits was reasonable. They had a system where if you took anything you wrote it in a book and paid up in the morning which was good. There was a lovely picnic area next to reception and space to park your car. You used wheel barrows to transport your belongings over to your unit which was very helpful.
Disliked: Noisy inconsiderate campers, but we've learned that glamping attracts folk that use the settings as places to be antisocial, to do stuff that would get them evicted from their homes. Despite this campsite having rules about this, it wasn't enforced. A little tired and in need of some TLC but this did not detract from our stay.

Rainbow trout bell tent (pet friendly, waterside)
Liked: Loved that there were no cars driving by the tents, wheelbarrow to carry our things. Son was able to do fishing for hours around the pond and at the larger one. The owners were great, really friendly and sold wood etc for the fire which was very cheap. Space between each tent so minimal noise.
Disliked: Showers being closer to the tents would be better

Sgt Pepper Bell Tent bell tent (waterside)
Liked: What a great find, we had a wonderful stay at Stonebridge Fishing Lakes. We stayed in the Sgt Pepper Bell tent which was huge for just the 2 of us with a fishing peg just in front of the tent. Weather was mixed but that didn't effect our stay as the tent was all set up with covered awning for cooking & use of the BBQ & fire pit. Showers a short walk away had good showers with hot water & excellent water pressure. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating nothing too much trouble. The peace & quiet and rural location was just what we needed. Hubby caught some lovely fish too so he was happy. We will be booking again soon.
Disliked: I am trying to think of a negative but am unable yo do so. This venue was perfect for us.

Liked: Quiet
Disliked: We stayed here as a last minute stopover travelling back from Northumberland and only really as we needed a shower. On arrival all we saw was just rubbish, old cars, old caravans, old coaches. Everywhere was just rubbish over grown. The showers was luck warm never much heat smelt terrible, mouldy, damp. On the section we was on there was old battered caravans, awnings destroyed rubbish everywhere.

Liked: A good pitch with a nice hedge partition near the wash block which was spacious with plenty of hot water.
