Liked: The peaceful site and wildlife. A pleasant walk to Kirkbymoorside. Good-sized and well planned pitches. A great welcome from the owner, as usual
Disliked: If there were toilets and a shower, I might take up residence :)

Liked: Nice views, easy walk to Kirbymoorside, good sized tidy site & pitches, our host Jayne was helpful and courteous.
Disliked: I'm sorry but the noise. We prefer to sit outside and enjoy our surroundings, so based on the reviews chose this site. Unfortunately noise from the adjacent pig farm and 60mph road were significant. These are outside of the owners control so in no way is this a reflection on them, and we were offered a refund if we decided to leave early.

From the manager: Oh Dear, - not much I can say really, other than I'm sorry you had such a bad weekend. It was obvious speaking to you that you disliked what our site had to offer, which is why I immediately offered you a refund, so you could use the money to go and stay on one of the many other lovely sites nearby instead of staying with us, as I am much happier when my guests are happy and enjoying their staying here. When you later declined this offer and said you would prefer to stay, I wrongly assumed you must have reassessed your opinion of our site after being here a bit longer. After reading your review, It was quite ironic to me that the only other complaint I received this weekend was about the volume of your radio and the banging noise coming from around your campfire until very late on Friday night. :) :) Best Wishes, Jayne

Liked: Lovely clean site, we loved the recycling bin area. Jayne was lovely she came to introduce herself which we really liked. She also message in the morning, we knew instantly she was gping to be so lovely. We loved waking up to the view of the sheep each morning. Our girls was obsessed with them. Most of the guests was very polite and nice to speak with.
Disliked: Completely out of Jaynes control, one of the guests who had dogs. Their dogs was contained but would be up at the metal cage teeth set and snarling everytime we went to fill with water. A little concerning when you have small ones, so we ensured they never went that way. Again completely out of jaynes control. The only thing we didn't like.
