Camping pod

Liked: This place is incredible! We stayed as 2 family's of 4 with children aged 4-8. The pods are fantastic with so many amenities that we just did not expect to have. The showers are great, good pressure and temperature. The toilets are perfect! We had one toilet and one shower per family which is a real luxury whilst camping! The place was very clean and tidy. The space outside of the pods is perfect for the kids to run around, play football with the goal and our kids played for outs on the swing, climbing frame and slide. Each pod has its own fire pit and the owners sell wood for £10 a bucket. The bbq is huge and the owners sell coal for £6 a pack. The owners were really friendly when they came over with wood etc and to greet us when we arrived. But they just left us to it whilst we were there which was great. Cannot recommend this place enough and I'm already thinking about pur next trip back!

Disliked: The only thing to mention and this really isn't a dislike is to be careful with children on the top bunk. On the first night my 8 year old slipped down the side as the gap is quite big between the mattress and the bed guard and unfortunately he got trapped. We moved the kids to the floor mattress after this which was much better for them.

Camping pod

Liked: We love it here we go every year there is a little park with plenty of space to run round right next to the pods so the kids can run around with pace on mind. I also like that there is only 3 pods so its never over crowded.

Camping pod

Liked: Close to Flamingo Land & Good showers. No fixed heater in the pod but the owners fetched us a plug in one when we asked.

Disliked: Fixed heaters in shower pods didn’t come on. Says there’s Wi-Fi but the connection is terrible.

Camping pod

Liked: This is our 4th visit to the Woodpecker Pods, and it was just as good as the all of the other visits. Fiona is amazing at what she does! The Pods are clean, warm and cosy. They have separate toilets and showers for each pod and they are also warm and very clean. In front of the Pods is a field with swings slide and a football net. They are surround by high shrubbery so everything is safe and secluded for younger kids. Each pod has a fire pit (wood can be bought from owner) and each Pod has its own picnic table too. There is also an off road car park. We are looking forward to re-booking our 5th visit for the summer. I beautiful quiet little Glamping gem for your family at an affordable price.
