Liked: After owning a caravan for a couple of years our old campervan has been used as a day van and for towing but we decided on a rare kid free night to drive to Flamborough in our camper in search of puffins and seals. It was very last minute and was tempted to wild camp but found this gem of a site last minute and took the more sensible option to stay there instead. The facilities are basic but this is clear on the website and was all we needed for a night. The toilets and shower block is clean and do the job so nothing to complain about. If we came for longer in the caravan we would use our own bathroom like I assume most people do on this site. It's a great location for exploring the area, the site is very well kept and quiet the owner is friendly and made us feel welcome. There's a shop and pub within walking distance too. It's a great place for a night or 2 and allowed us to enjoy going back to the more basic camping we used to love before family life took over ❤️ It was also amazing value at just over £20 booking through pitch up.com it's a fraction of what we pay for the fancy sites we normally take our Son too. We will be back in a few weeks hopefully with our Son to see if he can survive without the luxuries too😃
Disliked: All good

Liked: The pitches were very neat and tidy very well looked after. On arrival were greeted and shown to our pitch.
Disliked: The toilets and shower werethe main problem as there was only one female toilet and one shower. There isn't a very good mobile signal so unable to use phone on site(not to much of a problem for us).

From the manager: As you stated you were going to leave me a bad review due to not being given a refund for the last 2 nights of your stay. If you wanted a site that was directly in a town or village i would recommend to read the description on pitchup before you book another site in future, as ours does state we are a rural area but you can walk to the pub, shop and cliff tops etc. We can't please everyone! but we try our best!

Liked: Nice little site, well maintained and clean small toliet block with shower but enough. we only stayed for one night it was lovely, reasonable priced to, and close enough to drive into Bridlington for the day
Disliked: My only dislike was no where for the kids to play no bit of grass or field etc and was a little worried about them playing where they was as close to cars and caravans etc but nothing major as we was only there for the night.
