Liked: The friendly email we got had all the details we needed. We had a campervan and got a space right beside the play frame and there was a WC in the laundry room just beside us which was very handy with a 3 and 5 year old. Lovely and quiet. Perfect facilities and lovely walk around the meadows and trees on site. Stayed one night
Disliked: We didn't have time to try the sauna. Looked fab!

Liked: We loved our stay at Whitehouse Farm, check in was seamless, the site is beautiful and the facilities were modern and very clean. We'll definitely be booking again next time we venture to this end of the country!
Disliked: The only downside was that the showers are electric so it took a few attempts to get the right temperature, all part of the camping experience though!

Liked: Exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. The pond and sauna absolutely make this site, but we also loved the clean and spacious facilities, table tennis table, peaceful setting, and beautiful walks on offer from the site.
Disliked: The campervan pitches do feel an “afterthought”, they’re both small and opposite the toilet/shower block, on the main road into the site. Cars come and go at all times to holiday lets (no curfew as separate to camping) and the campsite carpark is also next to the van pitches. It was a noisy night and morning car wise, which was a shame on such an idyllic site. If you take this into account, DO NOT let it put you off visiting. The warm welcome, great facilities and glorious pond make up for this disturbed night entirely.

Liked: The access to the site - it's back roads leading onto a drive way down to the camp site, any car could do it. The short trip from the car to the pitch - it's gravel from the car park down towards the pitches & they provide wheel barrows The facilities - there is a big spacious building with showers, cubicles & sinks ect. (The showers are nice and hot) The scenery, it's a lovely piece of land it's situated on, the pitch we had was great with a little stream running by it. The owner rob is a really nice guy, he helped out if we needed anything Very clean & well maintained site
Disliked: Genuinely nothing, just that we had to leave.

Liked: Fantastic site and very friendly and helpful owner. The site is very well maintained and clean, even when almost fully occupied. I set up my hammock on the forest floor pitch in a small copse full of birdlife. It almost felt like wild camping with the added luxury of a hot shower. The owner has put in every effort to make the site welcoming for guests as well as wildlife. My highlights included watching the resident barn owl hunt in the adjacent meadow and being woken up to the dawn chorus by a whitethroat. A perfect place to relax in the countryside. Also good for cycling. I highly recommend a visit to the nearby Black Bourne Valley nature reserve.

Liked: Liked everything! The campsite was so well maintained, surrounded by beautiful fields, plenty of walking routes and the playground was perfect for young ones (ours are age 3 and 6). Clean, lovely showers and toilets. The pond was so pretty and will definitely be using the sauna next time. Gutted to have fallen asleep before the resident owl was flying over but hope to catch him next time. The communal fire pit and BBQ was brilliant too.
Disliked: Disliked having to leave and go home.
