Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Lovely quiet and clean site. Easy to find, the pub is closed but someone met us on arrival so we were able to go to our pitch quickly and easily- you choose your own. Pitches are gravel and level. They can be accessed from the front or rear so you can choose whether to drive in forwards or backwards.

Liked: We were warmly welcomed by the owner who was friendly. The layout of the site was really good, especially with the drive on/off on all pitches and were level. We saw a deer and sparrowhawk, so that was nice. The toilets and showers were very clean and modern.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the site is next to busy roads with heavy traffic during the rush hours. There's a few factories in Sparrowhawk Road and lorry movements even around midnight. Mobile internet was dire and no WiFi was available. We have problems with our aerial but could only pick up 27 TV channels but I'm sure with a decent aerial it will be fine. The pub has permanently closed. The town is about three miles from the site though

Liked: Site was very clean, tidy and well kept. Showers and toilet facilities were good. Washing up area was also clean and tidy. Plenty of dog bins and wooded area at the bottom of the site was just enough for the morning business before taking them out for the day. Although the site seemed full and there were a few dogs we felt it was still very quiet, no loud music and the visitors were lovely. The pitch was level and was great being half grass half hard standing, well kept grass and bushes. We didn’t feel crammed in plenty of space for everything you need. Gentleman who greeted us was informative and left is to it for the rest of the stay but was contactable via phone. All in all a great first trip out in our first camper. We will return!
Disliked: The road along side is busy, the first night seemed a bit loud but after that it just disappeared into the background. We live down a stoney lane with barely any cars and it didnt bother us enough to worry about it. One visitor had a dog that they just let roam the whole site and we did pick up after it a couple of times but that was more their fault not the sites fault - the rule being dogs on leads didn’t apply to them!

Liked: Pukka little site .nice and quite adults only ,felt safe and secure arrived around 8.45 pm was greeted by a gentleman who told us about the site and amenities told to pick a pitch that suits us. Although site is on a slight slope the pitch’s where pretty flat and level which was nice . Small wooed area on site dog friendly, site was very clean and toilets showers were very clean and tidy and the pot wash room was well looked after and the hot water was piping hot too. The whole site was well kept very well. unfortunately the pub in front of the site is closed till further notice ,which was a shame but not the end of the world. Overall I highly recommend this site !!!!
