General

  • Peaceful adults-only site, 15 minutes’ walk to Swaffham town centre
  • Castle Acre Priory ruins and Oxburgh Hall within 15 minutes’ drive
  • Amenity block with heated showers, laundry room; dogs welcome on site

Breckland Meadows Touring Park is an adults-only, dog-friendly site on the outskirts of market town Swaffham.

A gate on the site leads directly onto a walk called Swaefas Way, which takes you (and your canine pal) into the centre of the town in about 15 minutes, so it’s a manageable amble when you need to pick up supplies… or hit the pubs and restaurants. If you plan on loading up with groceries (there are three supermarkets) or other shopping, Swaffham is a few minutes by car.

If you’re more dedicated to strolling, you can continue on your roams by linking up with Peddars Way – there’s miles of ground to cover, from forest to coast (much of the route can be used by cyclists, if you think you might need some pedal power to get you around).

Back at base, there’s an amenity block with heated showers, as well as a laundry room with washing-up facilities, a washing machine and tumble dryer… everything you need to freshen up after a day’s adventuring (additional fees apply for the washing machine and tumble dryer).

AA 4 pennants

Please note

The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

This is an adults-only site. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.
