What customers say

This well-kept spot has roomy spots, spotless facilities & friendly staff. Near Sheringham woods for great walks. Families love the neat play area. Mostly quiet, though a few found WiFi tricky & some spots uneven. A peaceful, recommended getaway.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely clean site stayed for 5 nights lots of dog walking through the wooded area. Showers and toilets clean and nice. Hot water. Plenty to do round and about at Cromer and Sheringham . Food in bar lovely loads of it.

Disliked The bar/restaurant could have been open during the day . Would have liked a breakfast or a lunch time snack and drink.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Great campsite. Friendly staff and very well organised. Toilets and showers are lovely and clean with plenty of hot water. Really great club house with bands or karoke and bingo. Check what's on outside the club. Had a brilliant night last week with the karoke night. Enjoyed it so much. Hope they have it again. Bus service pick up from.campsite to sheringham. Check with staff for time table.

Disliked Couldn't find anything i disliked at all.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked Clean facilities and a family friendly environment. Nice walks in the area and close to Sheringham, the North Norfolk Railway and other seaside towns. The clubhouse hosted bingo whilst we were there which the kids loved; we won a pizza and £30!

Disliked Wi-fi and phone signal (EE) were temperamental.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked We had a fantastic stay at Woodlands campsite. The pitches are really spacious, giving you plenty of room to spread out. The shower block is large, and has reliably hot showers.
The site is great for families – the huge play area kept the kids entertained for hours, and the on-site restaurant serves tasty pizzas, which made for an easy dinner option.
The location is excellent too. From the campsite you can walk straight into Sheringham Park, through beautiful woodland, cross the steam train line, and follow the coastal path into Sheringham – about 4 miles in total and absolutely worth it.
Overall, a brilliant campsite with everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay.

Disliked Shower blocks need a better clean, especially the floors.

Local attractions

This handsome part of Norfolk is part of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home to swathes of uncrowded beaches for family days, dog walks, watersports and nature spotting. The closest beaches are Sheringham, 35 minutes' walk away, and Cromer (15 minutes' drive), both also home to historic seaside towns drawing visitors to Norfolk seaside hols since Victorian times. Birdwatchers and nature spotters are well placed too: species of all sorts can be spotted around the area as well as at Sheringham and Cromer. The National Trust’s Blakeney National Nature Reserve, 20 minutes’ drive away, is a fine spot to start your ornithological exploits, at its four miles of shingle, sand dunes, mudflats and salt marshes; also try birdwatching around the Cley Marshes (start at the visitor centre in Cley next the Sea, 15 minutes’ drive away), and the Salthouse Marshes a couple of miles east of Cley. For adventures further afield, the shopping, sightseeing, visitor attractions and restaurants of Norwich are 50 minutes away, and the waterways and more wildlife of the Broads within 40.
