  • Peaceful and scenic park for adults only, half an hour from Norwich
  • Managed as a nature reserve and with its own willow-edged lake
  • Garage, riding stables and nature reserve within five minutes' walk

What does heaven look like to you? If you pictured a willow-edged lake, a wildlife haven and a kid-free zone, then welcome to your personal Shangri-La at Utopia Paradise Caravan Park, just outside the small Norfolk village of Lyng and half an hour’s drive from Norwich.

Utopia Paradise is a peaceful site in the Wensum valley, with waterside pitches and a peaceful vibe. It’s part of a nature reserve, so you’ll be sure to spot loads of birds around the green grounds and next to the lake.

Beautiful spot next to a natural lake with wildlife all around. Relatively small site, immaculately kept. Currently no showers/toilets open due to Covid-19 but we had our own facilities. Chemical waste, bin area with recycling kept spotless. Suzan who runs the site was friendly, attentive and helpful, helping us to settle in perfectly. This is an adults only site, we had an amazing peaceful time.

    Disliked:

Couldn’t get wi-fi in our van, had to walk up to where the facilities were (also no phone signal on site or anywhere in the village, obviously not the sites fault!). Only a slight nuisance as we were happy to be ‘contactless’ but it would have been good for me to sit in the comfort of my van to check my emails, contact home to say we’d arrived safely, do online banking, access my online crochet patterns etc 🙂

What an absolute gem of a site. So peaceful, dark skies, and fabulous views. The swans and ducks have free roam. Suzie keeps a fabulous site. Some people will moan about the lack of facilities but they are more than adequate and kept spotlessly clean. Never felt crammed in as we have on other sites before. We have come back feeling thoroughly refreshed and chilled. Thank you so much Suzie. We will definitely be back!
