Liked: Set up of campsite, very friendly and informative welcome. Professional approach. Individual bathrooms was a bonus. Even though campsite was full they were always clean and plenty of hot water. We never got.to sample the bar on site but it looked really nice. Local takeaway which delivered was nice.
Disliked: Next to a busy road but it didn't really affect us much as we were out and about both days.

Pine Views fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (comfort)
Liked: We stayed on a very good, fully serviced pitch in a small caravan. We were close to the road side area, very noisy at peak travel times but this was mentioned on booking info. We had a picnic hut which we used in the evenings to watch the sunset, very nice! However, we think the hut is located too close to the neighbouring pitch which spoils it a little for their privacy as well as ours. Maybe a willow panel beside would improve the experience greatly. Liked the look of the bar/cafe although we didn't find time to use it. The friendly reception team were on hand for queries. We did an excellent walk using the walking map to Dersingham via Ingoldsthorpe and Snettisham using the old railway line. Baxter's garden centre half way was a great stop for lunch. A great base to visit all the touristy bits. We had no noise issues where we were.
Disliked: Liked the idea of the private bathrooms, but the block furthest from the reception was a bit tired. Some of the showers didn't drain away very well and could be a bit steamy and smelly when entering... a more powerful fan would probably solve that problem. Water was plentiful and the piped music from the radio station was novel. We also felt that the area surrounding the pitches were a bit cramped in on all sides but that's just a comparison to other sites we have stayed on, this was mentioned by others we met. Whilst we like dogs we felt there were rather a lot of them, some people had three or more. However they were all fairly well behaved with only the odd ones barking and nothing that bothered us too much. Reading other reviews we were probably lucky this time.

Pine Views fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (comfort)
Liked: Good location for Kings Lynn, Sandringham and Norfolk coast. Good sized pitch with own picnic hut, everything in good working order. Clean toilets, plenty of hot water. Welcoming and informative staff. On site Pub and Norfolk Nibbles- when open. Great for couples and families with kids. Very dog friendly, lots of people with dogs, they are also allowed in the pub. Excellent WiFi.
Disliked: Showers in need of upgrading, they are cleaned twice daily, but look rather shabby. Our caravan and awning was covered in sticky pine tree sap by the end of the week, the other half was not happy about that! More stone needs putting on the pitch as it had worn away leaving it a bit muddy for walking on, fortunately, it didn't rain while we were there, but would have been bad if it had done. We would like to have seen the pub open and food available for teatime (5-7pm) every day of the week, instead of just Friday to Sunday.

Pine Views fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked: Same facilities and great location as usual as this is our 5th stay in 12 months.
Disliked: I arrived on Sunday for a self check in and was disappointed with the allocated pitch. Once I had managed to contact the warden I found her to be quite hostile and unfriendly to my request for an alternative pitch on the grounds that pitch 35 was not the size suitable for my unit. I was told that someone had put a 5th wheel unit in there previously so there was not a problem. I also could put a large 5th wheel unit in there but I would still not be able to use my awning. She was adamant that there was nothing else available and that was it. I said I would like to be moved if something became available the following day. There were at least 4 pitches available for the next 4 days and I was not contacted. I spoke to Martin, the manager, on the 4th day explaining my situation. He was very helpful and apologetic for my disappointment and would look into it. We spoke at length and also about pitch 35 and concluded that if it was limited to 6m long units only that there would not be a problem in the future. I did not like to complain because on this and other occasions all the other members of the team are most helpful and friendly.
