What customers say
Small, peaceful farm campsite, good value. Guests liked the large, neat pitches, friendly staff, and countryside views (sheep!). Basic but clean facilities, adequate showers/toilets. Minor road noise/shower size noted. Overall, a great stay, many will return!

We had a really lovely stay…
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We had a really lovely stay at Eastgate Farm campsite near Royston. It’s a simple, great-value campsite run by a super friendly and helpful couple who made us feel really welcome, we even stayed an extra night. If we could we would have stayed another week.
The pitches are big, flat, and well looked after, with loads of space to chill out. The toilets and shower were clean and well maintained.
The site is quiet and relaxing, with sheep bleating in the next field — especially at feeding time—which really adds to the countryside feel. It’s also very dog-friendly, which we loved.
If you’re after a peaceful, affordable campsite with a very warm welcome and good facilities, we’d definitely recommend Eastgate Farm. We’ll be back for sure. Jay, Chrissy and of course Treacle x

Loved the site
Electric grass pitch
Liked The area, people on the campsite, friendliness, cleanliness of the area pitch, loved the sheep, ease to get to the toilets and shower, privacy and peacefulness.
Disliked There could have been a bit more of a little play area for children to play on, maybe a sandpit or something.
The shower was not clean at all, nowhere to hang towel except dirty toilet or cobweb covered window, bath mat seemed unhygienic
