  • Family site on the River Severn, 10 minutes’ drive from Great Malvern
  • Malvern Hills and Worcester 15 minutes’ drive; Tewkesbury 20 minutes
  • Playground and on-site fishing; clubhouse with carvery and Sky Sports
Fancy waking up to expansive views of the spectacular Malvern Hills? Then Riverside Caravan Park might just be the place for your next holiday. This peaceful site sits on the banks of the River Severn, 10 minutes’ drive from Great Malvern and 15 minutes from Worcester. The site is well equipped for families: children can let rip in the play area and climb trees, and there’s a dog park for the four-legged members of your clan. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can relax with a spot of riverside angling or by taking in the splendid views of the Worcestershire countryside. Sometimes animals can be spotted in the neighbouring area. The on-site clubhouse puts on a diverse range of events, from quiz nights to bingo and live entertainment; it also has a big screen tuned to Sky Sports, for the happiness of those who just can’t stay away from their Saturday footie. The clubhouse serves meals, too, including traditional Sunday roasts, or you can explore the local pubs: the nearest one is a five-minute drive away (or a 25-minute walk). On the other hand, if you prefer to fire up the barbecue, you’re more than welcome to do so here. Great Malvern is your best bet for provisions, with independent shops and a choice of supermarkets. Among other amenities here are heated toilet and shower blocks (including facilities for disabled guests), a launderette and a washing-up area.

Non-electric grass pitch (sloping)

Liked: Nice albeit small facilities, clean and warm.
Onsite place for drinks and food if required.
Lots of space for children to run around and a playground.

Disliked: There were some very loud guests late at night which didn’t appear to be monitored which was quite annoying when trying to get to sleep especially with young children.

Great pint in club house

Disliked: Not allowed bikes. 4 young children who stay busy on bikes was disheartening when got told to get pf withing a few minutes of arriving!
Fires out for 10pm which i don't get. Sitting round fire kids in bed we wasn't even chatting just watching the fire.

Liked: best camp site in the west midlands by far!…what can i say?…i’ve lost count how many times riverside has brought me back to this part of the country but just to put it into perspective i was here last weekend and now i’m back again this weekend, and have decided to camp from thursday till tuesday .super clean toilet facilities thanks to the wonderful staff who work the site tirelessly every hour of every day.the showers are the absolute best always hot and clean and lots of room to clean and get ready for your day ahead.the site it’s self is amazing soft clean grass perfect for pitching your tent which is my preferred way to stay at riverside.the people who use the site are always a pleasure to share the weekend with and i’ve never had any issues with anyone,i guess this place just attracts good people who are always willing to look out for one another and help you if you need something or help in any way.the on-site bar is just a good little delight offering great pub grub, live entertainment, pool table pet friendly ,bingo nights and more.its warm welcoming place and just great fun,a nice place to have a beer or two on a hot day.but for me it’s the two married couples who run and clean the place.they are always so warm so welcoming always smiling and there’s nothing they won’t do to ensure you have a great stay, they feel like friends to me now even family…my malvern riverside family…always great to see them and i feel the site wouldn’t be the same without them…so thankyou mark, anna & stephanie and thankyou sharon and phil for really making this place a gem i hope you get the recognition you all deserve.and anyone reading this i hope you have a great stay i’m sure you will fall in love with this site as i have.

Disliked: Nothing bad to say

Local attractions

Head to Worcester, where you can gaze up at (and feel dwarfed by) the Gothic vaults of the centuries-old cathedral (home of the tomb of medieval King John); learn all about porcelain at the Museum of Royal Worcester; and check out the walled garden at Greyfriars House. If you’re itching for a hike, there are plenty of trails in the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (15 minutes’ drive), including circular walks taking in a spectacular landscape of woodland, pastures and orchards. There are also self-guided themed walks focusing on wildlife, the famed water springs or local literary connections. Stretching on the banks of the River Avon, the historic town of Tewkesbury (20 minutes) is renowned for its 12th-century abbey, with its splendid stained-glass windows and ornate ceiling. The Tewkesbury Museum, in a half-timbered building, is home to a vast diorama (with a cast of over 2,000 characters) illustrating one of the key battles of the War of the Roses, the Battle of Tewkesbury, which took place on the outskirts of the town in 1471.
