Camping pod (four person)
Liked: My 5 year old made some friends on site and played on the field and in the play area for about 3.5 hours straight. Made my stay even more relaxing knowing he was able to play in a safe environment while I chilled in the pod. We stayed over so we could ride bikes at Cannock Chase which is less than 10 mins away, perfect location and safe enough to leave the bikes on the car. Definitely coming again!

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked: The amount of space we had and also the relaxed vibe. The shower block was really good and the fishing pools were a nice addition.
Disliked: The noise The train line is very close with trains running late and early morning. The bang in the next door field to scare off birds was forgotten to be switched off so was going off from 4.30am & other people on the site were playing music till at least 2.20am. Which was such a shame as we hardly slept.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked: There was everything you could need on site. Shower, toilet, washing up area, kids park, cafe, fishing pools… Staff were also all very friendly.
Disliked: It’s very hard to say I disliked anything but I’m not sure how often the shower/toilet block was checked on. I saw them being cleaned in the mornings but not much in between. Maybe when it’s busier (as it was a busy bank holiday weekend) increase the cleaning.

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Simple site with a friendly atmosphere/staff. Good park for the kids with clear view from all pitches. Relaxed feel.
Disliked: Gets very boggy when it rains. Grass is more like a field and grass cutting are not collected meaning you get loads of wet grass stuck to everything. Would be great if they could provide some sort of pizza/chippy/ice cream vans from external vendors.

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Good location, toilets and showers decent, friendly and relaxed. Will return.
Disliked: Ground is a bit uneven and a lot of grass to cover to get to the pitch, so a bit scary when wet, but managed to not get stuck!

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Layout of the site. We liked that the pitches were around the edge of a field with the play park in the centre. Pitches were level. Toilet block was mostly clean. Never had to queue for toilet or shower. Short walk from pitches to bins, water and toilets. Friendly site. Quiet, no road noise or noise from other campers late at night
Disliked: Some noise from the rail line but quickly got used to it. Had to pay £1 for 5 min shower. Not great when showering kids and having to keep an eye on clock. Cubicles could easily be made bigger for this too. Struggled with lack of space for drying/dressing. Having a bench/chair inside the cubicle would have been very useful. Small issues overall though, didn't spoil our weekend.
