Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: The site owner very helpful, site well maintained and toilets although a little old cosmetically they were very clean and tidy. Our second stay here and excellent value. Also great location for Alton Towers.
Disliked: The pitches have a slight gradient, not a huge issue for us as we have ramps for the van but perhaps a consideration if you don't.

Liked: Beautiful little site. Claire welcomed us with a nice text directing us to the site. Lovely a peaceful for a few hours to get our head down en route back home to Devon from Scotland.
Disliked: The toilets need a bit of attention as they are unisex ones. Clean and tidy though. Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t working due to an electrical issue which Claire did mention. 4G a bit dodgy too.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Quiet site, toilets clean, grass nice and short for dogs, decent site pitches.
Disliked: Unfortunately WiFi not working when there. Single small dustbin for all pitches. Scout campsite across the lane, so noise until approx 10.30pm - and conversations started again just after 5am. Nothing these owners can affect, but did spoil this quiet site

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: The site was really quiet and the owners were brilliant. They were very friendly and even managed to organise a visit to the local farm to see some calves for our little girl while they groomed our dogs!
Disliked: The pitches were quite soft and there had been a lot of rain so it was a bit difficult to pitch and level. Due to the rain the grass got extremely muddy through the week. Unfortunately the only water taps were on the grass so the aqua rolls got very muddy. Maybe some gravel between the pitches and taps would be good.

Liked: Quiet.
Disliked: Dreadful hardstanding, nothing like the photos, made shoes & equipment filthy. No advice given as to disposal of grey water, no sign of owners.

Liked: It was nice and small, big pitch space and tap close to the pitch. Good instructions on where my pitch was and lovely to wake up to birds singing and sunshine.
