Liked: Staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The site was immaculately clean and maintained. The shower block were the best we have ever seen/used on a campsite! Spotlessly clean, continual running water in the showers and added little extras like cotton wool balls, buds, tissues etc. For you to use if you wish.

Disliked: We didn't dislike anything, the only criticism I have is there isn't anywhere to walk your dog unless you go out of the site onto a very busy main road. Would be nice to see a dog exercise area.

Liked: This is one of the best sites that we have ever stayed in, both in Europe and the U.K. The facilities are superb with the largest showers ever. The bathroom facilities definitely rival a 5 star hotel, with luxury soaps and hand cream and so many thoughtful extras provided. It is also the only site where we have been given a complimentary welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, had complimentary ice for cold drinks and complimentary use of a washing machine and tumble drier. The sites themselves are large and flat, each being fully serviced. The owners are so friendly and helpful and keep this adult only site immaculate. I will most definitely return here the next time we visit this area.

Liked: This has got to be the best adults only site we have stayed at.. I am disabled and the couple running the site made sure our stay was enjoyable and easy access to the disabled facilities, which were kept clean at all times. The site was well looked after. We will definitely stay here again.... love the all service pitch that included free Wi-Fi.

Liked: Absolutely fantastic site. We had a lovely warm welcome when arriving which included a little gift too… very thoughtful. Pitches were very spacious and maintained to an extremely high standard. The toilet blocks were very impressive and so clean. Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

Liked: Everything. This site expertly managed by David & Shar is as it says, LUXURY. The shower & toilet facilities are second to none and luxurious. The site has thought of everything including professional dog wash, washing machine & dryer to name but a few.

Liked: Stoney Acres is a lovely place, Friendly, helpful staff. Exceptionally well maintained site. Extremely clean facilities. WiFi was pretty good too. Great size pitches. We had a lovely stay and will be back again sometime soon.

Disliked: The great British weather unfortunately.

The Shropshire Hills National Landscape is well known as a lovely place for a walk, and you’ll be in prime position to explore from Stoney Acres. Some of the best known places to head for are Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd (15 minutes’ drive) and the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve (35 minutes), but there are plenty of quieter trails to seek out too. There are lots of historic locations to visit around this area too – perhaps you’d like to stroll around the grounds of Attingham Park Estate (15 minutes), step further back in time at Wroxeter Roman City (15 minutes) or get to know the various museums of Ironbridge Gorge (half an hour), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of the Industrial Revolution. For more days out, find boat trips and canoe hire in Shrewsbury (15 minutes) or head south to Ludlow (35 minutes) to browse its foodie shops, tour its gin distillery and see its ruined castle.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 7 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General

Bookings must not be for more than 30 consecutive nights.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Admission

Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
