  • Peaceful park with fishing on the banks of the River Teme
  • A 10-minute drive from Ludlow and 30 from Hereford
  • Haven for hikers and birdwatchers; dog friendly; fishing for a fee
Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

What customers say

Westbrook Farm Park gets top marks for super-clean facilities, roomy pitches, and a chill riverside spot. Staff are always helpful, security's top-notch, and the kids' play area and dog walks are a hit. Most guests had a brilliant time, though a few found the Wi-Fi weak and not much to walk to locally.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Warm welcome. Helpful staff. Spacious pitches. Clean shower/toilet block. Great access to river for fly fishing. Good park for kids. Thoughtful bike riding field for kids to burn off steam without doing so around the pitches. Level pitches.

Disliked We visited when it was very quiet so we appreciate that rules are sometimes relaxed at these times but if rules state dogs should be kept on leads and kids aren't to ride bikes around the site then these rules should be enforced. No point having rules otherwise. Didn't impact negatively on our stay, it's just an observation. Previous reviews have mentioned the same thing.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Clean, large, flat pitches with all the amenities in a lovely area, close to some beautiful villages.

Disliked No real dislikes except the wifi is sketchy at best with little 5g signal. If you have to work on a laptop and require wifi, bring your own!

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked All touring sites should be as good as this. Flat ,level ,concrete base for motorhome with novel waste water "elephant trunk" connection. The free wifi was the best we have ever had. We used our fire stick to watch tv without any problems. Spacious pitch with individual satellite connection with offer of a free loan of a satellite box if wanted. Number plate recognition for vehicle entry without having to enter a code or present a card to a reader that is always just out of reach. Spotless facility block and access to riverside walks. All staff very friendly.

Disliked The only downside was there was no public transport so we were glad we had "A" framed the car.
